Best Meal at DHS?

For TS lunch my family loves Sci-fi cafe. The food is great and its themed like a drive in movie theater. We like to eat dinner at Hollywood and Vine. It's a buffet, but that way there is something everyone likes.

Sci Fi and 50's Prime Time are both OK. The burgers are pretty good at Sci-Fi but if there are several people in a party it makes for a difficult seating arrangement. 50's is suppose to be more of that "home style" cooking. I think they miss the mark a bit here. The food is OK but the role playing from the server can be a lot of fun.

Hopefully you don't decide to get adventurous and try to find a cs at DHS. There is no such thing as a good cs in this park and the ABC Commissary is just flat out awful.

DW and I actually scheduled which day we would visit DHS based on the availability of an ADR at 50's Prime Time.
Don't even think about attempting a walk-up, though, unless you have an hour to kill. We were there during a "slow" week and thought we would try to get in as soon as they opened since our ADR wasn't until 2:00. We would have waited close to an hour to get a table. With our ADR, I think we waited 15 minutes.

We liked both Hollywood & Vine and Sci Fi there. This year we are trying Mama Melrose for something different.

Mama Melrose for dinner! Every time we go I get the Spicy Italian Sausage, it's so delicious. When my partner and I go to WDW the last week of Jan we are going to eat there twice!

^^^ You can't go wrong with burgers, fries, onion rings, and milkshakes from Sci Fi Dine in Theater. If you go for dinner the burgers won't be on the menu, but you can still order them. Yummy!

Brown Derby is very good but very expensive. Mama Melrose is decent

The best bet maybe to leave the park and hit one of the Epcot Resorts via boat

I would recomend Holloywood and vine,there not the greates but really its not that bad.Theres a little for evrey one.Sci-fi-cafe was neat and the food was good but for me ,its a little to dark bad eyes but the kids will love It It diffently a must. as for the CS meals I have to agre,unless its for a snack avoid the cs food.

Sci-Fi if you are looking for burgers & onion rings, otherwise, the food at Hollywood Brown Derby is very good(expensive though)

We like the Sci-Fi the best....we ate at Mama Melrose in July not so impressed at all....the food was so so, and the service to tell you the truth just stunk, we waited forever.
