My cousin is away at college. I've lived in the same house as she did her whole life. (two family home) We always went on WDW vacations together. She would love to go, but it hasn't worked out yet.

I am going in August w/ my BF and I wanted to send her a souvenir that would make her feel like she was there. I was thinking about all the little things she loved the most- the monorail, the resort room and pool, Mickey waffles, Carousel of Progress, and Toll House cookies.

Does anyone know if Disney will pack and ship some Toll House cookies?

Any other suggestions? :goodvibes

The Happiest Celebration on Earth DVDs. You can buy them in a shop on Main Street (or just on eBay). The Magic Kingdom one is great!

I think the Disney (individually wrapped) chocolates like the Mickey Coins or the Disney Princess would be a good idea. Takes you there instantly AND they are fun to eat.

Another idea is a Refiilable Mug from your resort . I use them daily and they always remind me of my stay. A great gift for someone away @ college !! :thumbsup2

I have to agree with this suggestion. We own the MK, AK, and Epcot DVD's. Everytime we watch them it's almost like being right there.

How about a car antennae ball? There are lots to choose from. Cost is very minimal.

I think they may be discontinued, but my best "feel like you're there" souvenir has got to be my monorail magnet. When you press the button, it says either:
"Please hold on to the handrails."
"Please stay clear of the doors."
or
The Spanish phrase that means the same. (I won't even attempt to spell those words correctly."

I love it. When I came back and Disney fans saw and heard them, I needed to order more from the Disney Parks merchandising phone number!

Might I also suggest traditional mouse ears with your cousins name sewn on? Personalized and "right there"!

We just came back Friday and I looked all over for one of those monorail magnets and couldn't find one. I was so bummed!! :guilty:
