Best lunch at AK

Where would you recommend for lunch at AK?

I like the Salmon at Tusker House. I find their food to be a bit salty, but that seems to be consistent with all the counter service meals.

Flame Tree BBQ is our favorite ... delicious smoked half-chicken or a slab of great ribs. They also have BBQ pork sandwiches and other sandwiches/salads as well.

We have tried Pizzafari, Tusker House and Flame Tree BBQ--they are all good but I think our favorite is Flame Tree BBQ

I know we are not in the majority here but, we like Rainforest Cafe on our AK day. Being the only TS @ AK, we find it a nice break from the heat. The food is pretty good and if you do not have a RFC near your home it has a really neat atmosphere. Best of all if you do "my points" you can get RFC gift cards as a reward and use those. That's what we do

When are they gonna open a TS restaurant at AK - and get rid of RainForest... or I suppose just "in addition to". They need one so badly.

I agree with Pizzafari and RFC. We really enjoyed our meals. I have those planned for the next trip and I want to try Tusker House too.

I believe 2007 or 2008. I think the same company that owns RFC is opening the other. It's suppose to be in Asia.

Just got this from allears:

An Asian restaurant will debut in the Village of Anandapur in Animal Kingdom's Asia in Summer 2007. It will offer both table and counter service dining options, as well as house retail space with Asian-inspired merchandise, such as sushi plates and fine teapots.

i like the Flame Tree BBQ too... minus the killer attack ducks by the table and chairs...

We love Tusker House! Great chicken and you gotta love the open air full bar outside (mama needs her martini) and usually entertainment on the patio. AWESOME!
