We're planning for our first trip as new DVC members. We're going to our home resort, Saratoga Springs, in mid-December, staying in a studio. Some questions:

1) Where are the "best" locations? For us, that means relatively quiet, quick to transportation, something nice to look at out the window.

2) Once we've figured out where we might want to be, is there a way we can request a specific location or room?

3) I know I've seen pretty detailed maps of the resorts, but I can't remember where. Anyone have an idea, or am I just delusional?

4) Last one: what are the pools like? We prefer "quiet" pools; i.e., adults only.

Many thanks!

Our room in the Congress Park section over looked Downtown Disney and the quiet pool and the bus stop was right outside the door - sure would meet all of your "wishes!"

Congress Park has 4 buildings with a convenient bus stop in the middle and a quiet pool. None of the quiet pools are adult only at Disney.

The Springs has 3 buildings and is directly across the street from the main building and main theme pool with slide. No quiet pool at this area.

The Paddocks has 5 buildings, 2 bus stops, one quiet pool and is the most removed from the check in area, main building and restaurant.

Requests should be listed with member services when you make your reservation. They are never a guarantee.

We stayed in Congress Park and loved it. The quiet pool was close. It was a short walk to DTD. The only negative was the distance from the check-in and main pool, but buses carry you if you don't want to walk.
