Best Location to Photograph Wishes?

I was just looking at some of We-Luv-Disney's awesome Wishes photos and I was wondering what spots everyone likes to stake out to photograph Wishes? I watched Wishes for the first time on my last trip and I'd like to take pictures next time. We stood on the bridge to Tomorrowland to watch the show and it was great, but I don't htink that would be a good place for pictures (all the fireworks seemed to be to the right of the castle from that vantage point). Where can you set up a tripod and see the castle in the pictures? Ideas? Thanks!

2 spots I had on the last trip:
1st time out was in the hub in front of the Walt & Mickey statue. I found that to be to close. I was sitting, along with about 95% of the other people around me. There were a few that chose to stand during the entire show and it irked me. Especially because I had been there for a while sitting, then this guy shows up picks up his DD and stands for the entire show. But that is another rant for another thread. Also I had to adjust the camera too much on the tripod to get the angle. I ended up having to put it in the vertical position to get more of the fireworks above the castle (and also to avoid getting that guy in the pics):
Here is one of the better ones from that spot:

There were also a few other things that didn't go right for me that night. Because of the angle I had the camera it was tough to see the LCD screen after each shot to check for straightness and I had the focus slightly off.

2 night later I went back and staked out one of the trash cans between Casey's Corner and the Hub. I believe the one I ended up with was right at the big information board. Turned out (for me anyway) to be a great spot. I got there early so I also had a good spot for Spectro and was able to set my tripod up on top of the trashcan. LCD was just about at eye level so I knew I could get everything straight. Got some really good shots from this spot. It is pretty much straight on to the castle. Being on the trashcan (about 5 1/2 feet high with the tripod) abled me to get above peoples heads with only a slight tilt up. I would definately get this spot again. Here is a pic from about the same spot in the show as the above picture:

and another one for good measure. :teeth:
(this one I cropped to get some of the unneeded sky out of the picture)

Wow -- those are great. I like the idea of using the trashcan for a tripod base. Maybe I'll stake one of those out next trip!

Thanks Handicap for posting those great pictures!!! I'll have to stake out that location by the info board early.

What setting is your camera on to get those great effects? Still trying to get used to my camera.

I like the idea of using the trashcan for a tripod base.

I tried using one on my last trip, but I finally gave up. They're just too heavy and bulky to carry around. Not to mention all the people constantly asking me if they could put trash in it. ;)

I tried to set up on a trash can once, and had a CM jump all over me. Also, I was a little worried about someone bumping it or something.
