The closest hotels with shuttle service can be found here http://www.downtowndisneyhotels.com

These hotels are actually located on Disney property, and most are a short walk to Downtown Disney Marketplace. IMO, the shuttle service is great.

You can usually find a great deal at one of these hotels at the discount travel websites.

The Downtown Disney Hotels are not owned by Disney. However if you have to be off property completely, a nice 4 star hotel is the Peabody on I-drive
