Best location at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge

We are owners at OKW and would like any imfo on the best location for our stay in early May at VWL

What size unit are you staying in? We had a 2bedrm and were just off the the main area on the third floor. We lucked out and had a corner room which was huge. I would think you would want to be either there or closer to the main lodge for easier access to the amenities and transportation. We loved it there!

VWL is a tiny resort...you can see the entire resort here with the red roof. Most of the views will be of trees, befitting the theming of the resort. So really there aren't a lot of "best locations" at VWL.

Most view are of the woods. Some have a glimpse of the lake through the woods. Some have a bit of the pool and woods. There is one longer wing to the building (towards the back of Granny's photo) that is not as long as the BWV or AKV-KV wings.

Thanks for the info. We are going to stay in an one bedroom unit. On our most recent trip to OKW/WDW (10 days - left on Friday), we visited VWL and "scoped out" the DVC section of the resort. We were hoping to get an upper room, but w/o a parking lot view.

There are no parking lot views. We had the bus stop just beyond our villa last week, but couldn't see the buses or even hear them much.

No parking lot views at VWL. Here's a photo from near the bus stop, which is much closer to VWL than the parking lot.

We usually ask for a high floor 1 bedroom, views are sketchy with mostly trees to see, though lakeside may allow some view of water.
