Well, we had been hoping against hope that Disney would release some room only codes so that we could try Port Orleans Riverside...but no luck!!

Plan B is the All Stars!!!

Can someone tell me The best location to request for a standard room? We are interested in pool, food court and bus stop!

Thanks,

Kathy

I would say the Football bldg since it is halfway between both pools and closest to the bus stop and main bldg without paying premium. We always wanted to stay here but it doesn't have the best parking. If you won't have a car I'd say try it.

I know what you mean about the codes. We are booked at POR with a AAA rate but I'm still hoping for something to come available! When are you going?

The AS sports is laid out so well, not matter what section you would be in, you will be no more than a couple minute walk to everything.

We like the sports way better than POR.

Enjoy!

We stayed in Touchdown (the football building mentioned by Halfway There) and it was a great location. You have the "quiet" pool close by (it's Goofy at the mound!), the food court is a quick walk (as is the pool bar!), and if you walk around the building you are a quick walk to the bus stop.

So we should stay at the football building. Good to know. I have stayed at AS Sports once before but didn't remember the best standrd building. I love the All Stars. I, too, have booked with a AAA discount but hope for resort-only discount codes. Would the codes be out by now if they are going to have them for January?
