Based on the many recommendations from this board, we purchased a Chicco Capri for our upcoming Disney trip. We love everything about it! Except, it is about 1 inch too short for me (I'm 5'8") and I keep kicking the wheels. DH is 6'1" and the grandparents we're taking with us are also tall. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what stroller we should be. Does anyone know if the Chicco 5.0 (or whatever it's numbered...:confused3 ) is any taller than the capri. That would be perfect. Or another recommendation. Our top requirements are tall handles, decent sunshade, compact fold and lightweight.
TIA!

We had a Chicco capri and at 5'6", I felt it was too short. My 6'0" DH refused to push it. We took a Graco Ipo to WDW with us and it was great for us both. Folds umbrella style, reclines fully, and was only $80.

I would try and find an Evenflo X Sport. The handles were adjustable so that should help you. I tried one out at Baby Depot inside Burlington Coat factory.

I think I need tog et off the board for a while. A quick glance at you title asked me, "Where to get the best Budlight for tall parents?"

Sorry for going OT!

We had a KidCo stroller that was very lightweight, folded like an umbrella, but was much more comfy and had adjustable handles, so short me could push or tall hubby. It also had the highest weight limit at 50lbs and we got years of use out of it. LOVED it.

I have the chicco c5 and love it. I am 5'8 1/2" and very rarely bump the wheels. HTH

I just ordered a cosatto swift lite as a back up and I read reviews that it's great even for taller parents - DH is 6'3". I haven't gotten it yet but you can check those out. Walmart online is the only US place I found to order, but they seem great and have a 4 year guarantee! I can post more after it arrives!

I've looked at the evenflo xsport, but I'm a little concerned the handles might be a little "wobbly" or less responsive when fully extended. Also the sun shade looks a little smaller than the Mia Moda we're considering. Anyone have experience with either? TIA!

We have the Maclaren Techno XT with adjustable handles. I am 5'9" and DH is 6'3" and we have no issues!! (Plus the Mac's are rated to 55 pounds so we can keep bringing it to WDW even though he NEVER uses a stroller at home anymore)

We have the Maclaren Quest and my 6'2" husband has no issues pushing it. However, I'm not sure how you'll like the shade.

There are also stroller handle extenders available...

We have 2 Maclaren Volo's for our twin DDs (3 yo). We love them, and my DH (6'4") has no problem pushing them - every other stroller we tried was too short for him.

We feel like we are driving sports cars when we are steering our Mac's (compared of course the the old woody station wagon our double strollers feel like!:rotfl2: )

I have a Maclaren Volvo and it has long handles- I am 5'8" and I don't have to hunch over to push it. My DH also doesn't mind pushing and he's 6'1".

For more shade coverage, you could buy a Kiddopotamus Rayshade (usually around $15) and that will keep baby nice and protected! HTH

I think we're going to go back to BRU and look around some more. We've looked at the Evenflo xsport, didn't like it so much. The chicco c5 is what my hubby wants but I really like the Maclaren volos and triumphs. Help me convince him!

We have Macs- Volo and Quest Mod. My DH 6'2" has no problems pushing them (kicking the wheels) and the handles are perfect for him. Once you push a Mac you wont want anything else. Get him to test drive one and he will be sold. They sell themsselves!!

I'm 6'2" and I bought handle extenders for a basic stroller - it was the best purchase ever. DH and I both appreciated the extra room it gave us. I cannot remember the name or company, but a Google search should help you out quickly. Good luck!
