Best Laundry Facilities

This may not be a giganic priority when picking a resort, but there is nothing worst then a dirty laundromat. The only one that sticks in my mine for being quite nice is AKL's. Any other's. Thanks

Well, I'm partial to the one located in the room at a DVC resort. ;)

I think you'll find all the laundry rooms at the WDW resorts are kept up to a high standard.

Hands down the Polynesian. Go EARLY in the morning and you'll have no problem at all getting machines.

Worst would be All Star Sports. (Too many broken washers, empty soap machine and not enough machines even if there weren't any broken.)

I don't like the laundry rooms at the GF--in each building there are a couple washers and dryers--not enough for the number of rooms.

The one at POFQ is also very nice.

Of course as the other poster said--having them IN your villa at the DVC resorts is the very best :)

Where are the laundry facilities at the poly? Thanks for your help. This will help me make some packing decisions.

In the front of the resort near the neverland Club and arcade.

I like AKL too, the WL is too small and no lounge to sit in.

The laundry room at the Dolphin is nice. It has always been clean & well maintained. Best of all, it is next door to Tubbi's Buffeteria!

I am glad I am not the only one worried about laundry facilities. I always overpack, but cant bear to have dirty clothes lying around. I to hear both the Poly and POFQ have good facilities for Laundry. Thanks Ducklite.:D

Since we always stay 10 days, there is no way I could go without doing laundry once.
The facilities at the ASMo are wonderful! Clean, Bright. Never a broken machine. I put my loads in and then relax by the pool. It's just 5 steps away from the Mighty Duck Pond.

I do bring my own soap and fabric sheets. The vending machines are HIGH!!

See ya in June/July!! :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Shame you cant charge the washers and dryers to your room card:rolleyes: I always run out of quarters and never have much luck with the change machines. Sometimes I thik I feed those dryers so many quarters, it would be cheaper to have Disney do my laundry.

Well, if you want to save precious vacation time, quarters, luggage space (detergent, etc.), and the hassle factor, would Disney laundry services be better?
Can you charge the Disney laundry services to the room?

5 * people * 14 days at WDW+Disney Laundry service=$$$$$$$$$$too many!:p Wishful thinking;) - Thats why I love DVC villas - own Laundry facilities. Unfortunately all that is available on our next trip is OKW. We have stayed there already and I like to try new resorts. Also renting points seems very difficult at the moment.

We also love the laundry facilities at the Polynesian. And at POR they were good also. Now, since we'll be in a studio at BWVs we don't have in room facilities. Looks like we'll be hoofing it. Hope the laundry isn't toooo far from our room.
