Best Last Minute Spot for FoF

I managed to snag a 1:55 ADR for BOG, which I'm excited about, but that leaves us cutting it VERY close to catch FoF. Where would you go for a last minute dash spot to watch? I'm not expecting to find a prime viewing spot, but I'd like to be able to at least see the floats. I'm thinking over in Liberty Square near the Riverboat entrance-- there are some planters there that we have used to give the kids a boost, but that are far enough back that they aren't blocking anyone's view. Is there a better spot? I don't think we will have time to make it to the front of the castle. And does the parade route run from Frontieland to Main St, or the opposite? Thanks!

Parade goes from Frontierland to Mainstreet

Absolute best last minute spot I've been to is the Town Square loop in front of Le Chapeau across from the FP viewing area. The parade gets there 3:20ish, so you have plenty of time, and they don't put the ropes up until just before the parade arrives, so no one congregates there. Since it's on the curve, you also seem to get more viewing time (this is my personal observation, but I am able to get more photos of performers/floats on a curve than I am on a straight path). Oftentimes you can walk up just as they are making the announcements about the parade and still get a front row spot

Thank you! We are planning to exit right afterwards, so that would be great. Am I picturing it right-- that little curve where the Confectionary wraps around and goes towards the little alley beside Tony's?

Yep!

The area behind Cubby.

Once the parade is over, just follow the end around the curve and exit from the right (when looking at the train station from inside) walkway. CM's have an exit path marked there for you to go through

If you can time it right, there's a crossover from the Tiki Bird/Magic Carpet area to Country Bear Hall. Last summer, we were able to slip through the crossover and into the Country Bear stroller parking area just as the 3 pm parade was approaching. The kids got front row with a less than 30 second wait. Not too bad.

That's our tried and true MNSSHP spot:-). It would depend on how quickly things go at BOG, but another great suggestion!

This is a great spot to watch! I was surprised on our last trip how easily I was able to find prime viewing real estate here.

And I take it that this spot will work for the MVMCP also?

Thank you for the idea, we have a 1PM lunch at WCC on our arrival day and are going to hop over to catch the parade because we missed it last year.

It always seems like everyone heads to Main Street first...we've always had luck finding late spots just about anywhere in Liberty Square. There are some nice shady spots near the Hall of Presidents.
