Best kept secret restaurant

Don't have any to add, as everywhere I have eaten is at least semi-popular, but I'm glad that I have ADRs at Citricos and GF Cafe on my upcoming trip. :goodvibes Especially GF Cafe, since I've seen virtually no reviews for it.

The Pepper Market at Coronado Springs. We were so inpressed with what we were able to choose from and get on the dining plan for counter service. It was a lot of food! Way more than anywhere else we ate!

Lots of votes for the GF Cafe. I've been really thinking about trying this out, and after all the votes I've seen for it, it's a definate. One of our favorites is Yacht Club Galley for breakfast. Great buffet, lots of choices and good food. Love the mini muffins.

If you like the type of food at Yacht Club Galley, I think you'll like Grand Floridian Cafe. That's actually also another "sleeper", I dont' think many people even know that Yacht Club Galley does have that little buffet for breakfast. We enjoyed it also, not as many selections as the "big" character ones, but very very nice and the quiet atmosphere is wonderful too.

Citricos and Artist Point - both rarely crowded but very high quality.

okay I just got back from my honeymoon and my DH and I were walking around MK one afternoon, totally starving and not sure where to eat and we had all our DDP meals planned out carefully and didn't want to mess that up...when we stumbled upon the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station...it was a little pricey for such a random location that doesn't take reservations ($28 per person), but the food was actually REALLY good...(maybe we were just really hungry) but we loved it. And they had Red Velvet cake for dessert!!! I only ever see Red Velvet cake in Texas and it was GOOD red velvet cake!!! We were very pleasantly surprised. It's a whole buffet set up with someone to bring you drinks and refills and such. The place was empty and there was tons of food...couldn't have asked for a better scenario!!

Keep your eye out for it!! It's right near Buzz lightyear I belive... :thumbsup2

Well, I was going to say "Grand Floridian Cafe", but after reading this thread, I see that it's not a SECRET anymore!!!!!

Picabu. It's in the bottom of the Dolphin, down a long hallway--not really easy to find at all. But it has some of the best counter-service meals at WDW. I've been known to make special trips over there just for the beef chimichanga.

The Plaza at MK... it is almost tucked away.. yet it really is in a busy location. Good food, good service. We found the gem last time and want to make sure to hit it again this August.

I also wonder about the Grand Floridian Cafe, since it will be infested with characters july through october while 1900 is being renovated...maybe it will stay the same quality.... we might have to try it when we are there in August.

I think Mara at AKL, is a great place for counter service. It has the regular junk food (pizza) and it has great African food too. I absolutely loved the African stew; it was the best quick service food I've had at WDW.

100% AGREE! Fantastic place to grab a quick bite that is different yet FAST!
