Just wondering what the best Italian in people's opinion is? If its not on the list above please post a reply listing it thanks

this was hard for me. i voted for portabello, but we do enjoy mama melrose. either would be great!

I have not tried the new Rest in Epcot. The last time we went to old one it was horrible. We generally only eat at the parks, the hotel we are in or a hotel on the monorail.

Mama Melsrose was preety good and very accomadtiong for my picky eaters

No question about it Tutto Italia....haven't been to the other places.....don't need to.....Tutto Italia was FABULOUS!!!!!!!!! Much better than the prior Italian Restraurant.

I voted for Portobello's, but I was pleasantly suprised with our dinner at Mama Melrose in December. The food was much better than I anticipated.

I haven' tried Tutto Italia yet. Hopefully, we will be able to check it out on our next trip.

Tutto and Il Mulino are both pretty new, so I doubt most folks will have tried either. We didn't care for Mama's or Tony's much. I've never tried PYC.

The best Italian I've had was offsite. There's a family owned place in Kissimmee: La Forchetta on John Young Parkway. That was just about the best meal I've had in Orlando. Teh soup and pasta were excellent, and the service was really good too.

Otherwise the other place we liked was Portofino Resort at Universal. There are several eateries in differetn price ranges, no ADR's needed, and all were pretty good. The last time wasn't quite as good, but mostly we just had a bad server.

Was Alfredo's the name of the previous place at EPCOT. I actually loved the place.

Mmmmmm, Tutto Italia...Although I am part of the minority that enjoyed Alfredo's as well. Honestly, I really haven't met a noodle I didn't like!

best italian?
me ;)
best italian restaurant: tutto italia (much better than alfredo's was, imho). menu is creative, food authentic, atmosphere & service perfect, but definately more expensive than the others (haven't tried mulino tho)
hth :)

Thanks everyone. I went to Alfredos on my last trip and hated it so wanted to try somewhere else
