Best Italian @ WDW?

What is your vote for the best Italian restaurant (or restaurant serving some Italian dishes)? What is your favorite dish there?

I loved Mama melrose, delicious calamari and great food.

Tutto in Epcot, hands down! Mama Melrose and Tony's are sub-par Olive Garden/Macaroni Grill.

Although I've never eaten at Il Mulano...

Have Italian at home, and try something new that you can't find as easily at home. Or go to a restaurant that has a theme that you can't find at home.

We like IL Mulino and Tutto, although Flying Fish has been doing an Italian dish on their menu's...changes seasonly with the menu...but are fantastic.

Since people's palates differ widely (witness all those posts from the "picky eaters" or the "bland eaters"), there is no hands down "best" type of restaurant of any kind at WDW.

That being said, my favorite Italian place is Il Mulino. It's expensive and I am sure a relatively small number of people on these boards have tried it, but it is very high quality and delicious Italian food (with wonderful service as well).

Mmmm... Il Mulino. I think I might stop in in August for a glass of wine and an appetizer.

It's inside the Swan and is not on the DDP

The best Italian meal I have had at WDW was nit in the parks or resorts but in Celebration at Cafe d'Antonio. It is on Front street and the food is better than in the parks and a fraction of the price.

Another vote for Tutto Italia. The two pasta dishes we have enjoyed are "Sacchetti" and the "Penne Caprese"

Another vote for Tutto's. I had the lasagna which was good and huge and my picky eating son had the "Bucatini Gratinati" without the ham and peas which was bowtie pasta with an alfredo like sauce on it and his was even better than mine. Plus, the service and atmosphere are excellent.
