Best Ipod touch deal?

I am looking for 16 GB or 32GB and prefer online. Who has the best price?

I was looking too and settled on 32GB on walmart.com. They are about $20 cheaper today than usual- $229 today. The 16GB are $187 I think with a regular price of $199. Best Buy had 16GB for $149 starting yesterday but they were sold out online when I looked in the afternoon.

There are refurb ones on eBay for $159 but I don't think they have the rear camera.

I bought my DD a 32 gb 5th generation a year ago from Cowboom for $175 after I washed her old one.

ETA: Target has them for $249 with a $50 gift card.

Are you looking for a 5th generation? I was able to get 16gb 4th generation iPod touches for my son for $99 each as refurbished units through the apple website. Since my kids are still young, I couldn't justify spending any more $ for an item they were responsible for.

From everything I've read no one knows. Apple doesn't care much about iPod touches anymore. Plus they are priced so close to iPad minis. But a new one is overdue but it's possible it won't happen.

But they aren't close in size. I couldn't imagine using my iPad mini as my only music player. Works great for around the house but not so much for in the car.

Yeah. I get that. And some kids have both. And some have one or the other. The mini is a better value IMO but not a perfect substitute.

Almost every 6th grader my dd knows has an iPhone. iPod touches are for kids in elementary school here. (My dd is an exception because her dad won't allow a phone).

I purchased two 5th gen 16gb yesterday at Meijer. They were $179 but included a coupon for $50 off next purchase valid through Christmas. Target had the 32gb for $245 with a $50 GC today.
