Best iphone 7 deal?

Are there any deals for iphone 7 with Verizon service? I can get a "free" one with trade in and 24 month contract through Verizon right now. I know last year at Christmas time there were better deals through retailers like Best Buy. Anyone know of any good deals this year?

So we don't have 2 threads with the same thing, I too am looking for the best Iphone deal, but with AT&T. I went to Sams yesterday and was in the middle of the process of buying there for the $150 giftcard but she told me I had to activate it right then. I have bought phones for Christmas in the past and they let me buy without activating then on Christmas, after opening, it could be activated easily. Has anyone bought through a 2nd party (Sams, Bestbuy etc) and activated later?
