Veteran cruisers may need to think back a few years! What's been the most interesting, useful, or just plain funny information or advice you've gotten on these boards about sailing DCL?
The All Hands On Deck platter from room service.
What is in this platter?THAT may have just made my list of best DCL tips! CHEESE!!!

i do have to say while the all hands on deck cheese platter used to be good it is, imo, underwhelming now.

Best? Read the Navigators. Doesn't feel like there's time (especially on a 3-nighter) but those short cruises are where it's vital that you read it. Find out what's happening, see what the family wants to do, and make it happen.
Getting home and finding out how the "dine and play" or "play and dine" or whatever it's called is supposed to work is too late to find out how it's supposed to work. It was in the Navigator each day, and I just didn't read them. (and I read *everything* so that was weird)
