Best Inexpensive Hotel with Cool Pool for one night

Okay... we are going to be driving down, and are trying to arrive early evening in Orlando. We want to be able to stay close to the world, as we will check in at Pop Century the next morning and head out to the parks.

We also would like to find a nice hotel with a really nice swimming pool so our little one can hang out and swim before we head to the parks the next day. Thanks.

The Radisson Resort Orlando- Celebration has a nice free form pool with a waterfall. We stayed there last fall- it is super close to the Main Gate- just off I4 and Hwy 192, about a mile from the WDW entrance. We paid around $79 for 1 night. The Country Inn and Suites at Calypso Cay (Kissimmee) is right around the corner and they have a zero-depth entry pool with a slide. We loved it.

We have not stayed here before, but have heard it is nice, the Howard Johnson Maingate East. We will also be staying at Pop and it is 5 miles away. I got a room for $39.60 plus tax. It has a pool and hot tub.

Sheraton Safari is right by everything, they have a really cool pool and if you open up Amx card, you'll get enough points for free night.

I think we're going to stay here for our first night next year (unless we decide to leave early, we may just go with another night at the Poly then). Anyways, I'm terrible with directions, maps, mileage etc. - can you tell me about how far this actually is from Disney? We'll be getting up early, eating the incl. breakfast, then going to check in at the Poly and heading to the MK. So I'd like something fairly close to make that all go smoothly and get us into the MK!! Thanks!
