I want to get a digital camera for my kids, but I don't want to spend a lot of money. I want the camera, though, to take decent photos (I'll be printing 5x7s). Any recommendations?

I bought mine at Sears where they're listed at $109.99...I just brought the flyer and they price matched + an additional 10% off.

I went to Jo-Ann Fabrics and got Disney Rub-ons or you can actually buy cool skins for the camera at www.skinit.com for $14.95.

You probably want an SD memory card. There are many on sale on Black Friday. I'm going for the 512 for $7.97; walmart has a 1G for $13 and change.

Other than that...
Black Friday deals
CompUSA has a 6.1 MP listed $49.99 but no brand known
Meijer has ARgus 5150 listed for $49.99
Circuit City will have the Kodak c533 w/Printer for $99.99

I don't think any of these have optical zoom but for kids that's probably good [when the lens zooms out could get broken]..

I just want something small and easy for DD (8) to use. I was just going to get small disposable cameras but now I am thinking of a digital camera that she can keep. Any other suggestions?

the disney 3.1 mp will be on sale @ best buy for $49.99..but it's not going to be easier.

You really don't want to be less than 3.1 mp unless you are just getting it for fun...

if so, disney has the pix click micro for $19.99 with no lcd screen and $39.99-$49.99 with an lcd screen, at TRU & BestBuy. Both are 640x480 so not even 1mp...just like the fisher price one...

That's all I got!
