Where do you get the best ice cream & smoothie in each park on a snack credit?

Found out about these on Disboard. At MK they are across from the Swiss Family Robinson Tree House. They were pineapple juice on the the bottom and soft serve pineapple ice cream on top. It was a lot of snack for 1 snack credit.

I am not sure if any of the Ice Cream locations in the parks accept the Snack Credits for the Disney Dining Plan because I don't see it listed on any of their menus. Personally I love the Ice Cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and even though the Dining Plan is not accept there, the prices are very fair and not expensive.

Your information is incorrect. There are certain items available from the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor that you can use dining plan snack credits for. There are also many other locations within all the parks that accept dining credits for ice cream treats.

In the Magic Kingdom alone, besides the Plaza, Mrs. Potts, Auntie Gravity's and Sleepy Hollow, just to name a few all take snack credits from the dining plan for ice cream treats.

OP, check out this link http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2381706. That should help you out.

Our favorite smooties are from Auntie Gravity's in the MK (all kinds including the frozen cappuccinos!)
and the Raspberry Lemonade Slushes from Sunshine Tree Terrace also in the MK.
I agree that the yummiest ice cream in the MK is from The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. There's just something magical about Main Street and ice cream together!

In Epcot, the frozen cappuccino and raspberry smoothies from the Fountainview Cafe are very good!
We love Kaki Gori shaved ice in Japan in the World Showcase and although we haven't had one, there is something called The American Dream in America in Epcot in the World Showcase that has a combination of strawberry and blue raspberry slushie AND vanillas ice cream!:cloud9:

Those are our favs!

The homemade ice cream cookie sandwich from the main street bakery at the magic kingdom. I believe they are a snack credit.

They have the same at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square! YUM!

If that's true how come the menu for the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor says they don't accept the Disney Dining Plan or why it's not listed among the locations that accepts the Disney Dining Plan for 2011.

I'm not going to play games with you. We've had ice cream there many times and used dining plan snack credits. In addition it looks like most of the snack places say they aren't on the dining plan when in actuality they do take snack credits for certain items.

From your previous posts it doesn't seem as if your father has ever purchased the dining plan for your family so therefore you are most probably not as familiar with where it is accepted as those of us who have actually paid for and used the dining plans. :)

ETA: You might also want to check out the link I provided for the OP. That link shows the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor aka the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor and everything there that is available for a snack credit.

We got ice cream once in France. It was soft served in a home-made waffle cone. It was huge and soooo good. It was for sure on the dinning plan. We eat a lot of ice cream and always do the DDP and have had NO trouble getting ice cream at any of the parks!!!!!!!!!!

:thumbsup2We get 3 of them and the split them in half for the 6 of us. They are the best!

Not sure about 2011, but we've always used our DDP snack credits at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor. YOUR ITEM HAS TO BE $3.99 or UNDER to qualify. :thumbsup2 Again, I stick with my first answer :mickeybar

Just wanted to say that basically everything, but the waffle ice cream bowl counts as a snack credit at the Plaza. We use snack credits there many times during each trip. They do have the DDP symbol next to the ice cream choices at the Plaza on the menu when you walk in.

We had a brownie sundae at Mrs. Pott's in MK and it was sooooo good. In fact I am planning on getting one again next trip. ;)
