Best hotel pools close to Disneyland

I'm planning a trip to Disneyland in August with my 12 year old son. We have previously stayed at the Embassy Suites (Disneyland south, I believe), but we weren't crazy about the pool, which was right off of the parking lot.

What options are there for hotels in that price range that are close to Disneyland with nice pool facilities?

The HoJo (on Harbor) has a two pool areas, the main pool area has a kids pool and sprayground, and hot tub. You can see the fireworks (although not the show on castly/matterhorn) from the main pool area. The 'garden' pool is just a pool, in a very nicely landscaped part of the property. The HoJo is a great hotel, only 7 - 10 minute walk from the park.

The Holiday Inn Anahiem at the Park (1221 S Harbor) has a great pool that is open 24 hours, but is a loong walk. It is on the ART system. It also has a LOT of freeway noise (HoJo has some too, but this hotel seems worse). http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/6c/1/en/hd/laxae

THe Grand Californian has a marvelous pool area.

At the top of this board I have a thread with hotel information and pictures. Check out the Howard Johnson, Coast, Sheraton, & Ramada Inn Maingate -- those get my vote for the nicer non-Disney pools (that I have seen).
