We are Diamond Members with Hilton. We have more points than we know what to do with. We will be staying 3 nights and will have 3 day hoppers thanks to having many points. Best Hilton brand hotel? Cheapest parking? Closest to DL and Downtown Disney?

I can't be of more help, but I would check www.tripadvisor.com they are a great resource. I love their review section. Also, www.mousesavers.com has alot of info on DL area hotels, and I think Mary talks about a Hilton specifically. also check www.mouseplanet.com They have hotel reviews and their message boards are more geared to DL. Good luck and have fun!!:wizard:

The Hilton Anahiem is very close to DL. Not really walking distance....although doable. I think there is some info in mary Jo's "sticky" thread.

We stayed at the Hilton Suites last year and it was WONDERFUL!!! Every room is a suite, completely updated and came with a hot breakfast buffet. I would love to stay there again this year but you have to use ART and with 2 kids and a double stroller we just don't want to deal with it.

We're also Hhonors members- closest is the Hilton Anaheim, across from DCA on Ketella. I've never stayed there.

We usually do Embassy Suites or Homewood Suites as we like the room, and my mom usually comes with, so she gets the sofa bed. Embassy has double beds in the room, micro and fridge, free made to order breakfast and managers reception(M-Th). Homewood has breakfast and managers reception (M-Th), and a full kitchen- sink, fridge, micro, stove, dishes, etc. We've also stayed at Hilton Garden Inn and we like it, too.

Also- since we have APs, we don't usually use ART, but have on occasion- never had a problem, picks up right in front of Embassy Suites, and one goes right to Homewood Suites.

I am Hilton diamond level as well. I happen to be at the Doubletree in Anaheim on Harbor Blvd right now! It's wonderful! They upgraded us as normal to a king suite. I'm very happy with it! Everything is new. I was going to stay at the Hilton but the online reviews were not very favorable!

This March we stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Garden Grove (which didn't seem like a bad drive at all, maybe 10 minutes?). We really enjoyed it. Very nice and clean, down pillows, etc. But we're totally easy to please, we usually stay way budget.

We've stayed at the Anaheim Hilton, and we did not enjoy it at all. The lobby is lavish and gives the impression that it is a high-end hotel. But the standard rooms are really worn and weary, and are badly in need for a reno. In fact, it reminded me of a low-end motel. The bathroom was small and covered with brown grout on the tiles. I've noticed that those who have stayed on the executive level floors gave better reviews, so if you are considering the Anaheim Hilton, you may want to upgrade to one of those rooms.

Somebody mentioned the Doubletree Guest Suites, a newer hotel. I've heard that one gets great reviews.
