Best Guide Book

As said before it would have to be Simon's book.
I bought the Unoffical guide as well... frankly it was a waste of a tree :sad1:

Meant to add it is not a guide book, but From Sketch to Reality is my all time favourite book on DLP :goodvibes

I like Unoffficial guide to WDW with Kids. I like the bigger print and ease of use. Still have to have the UOG though. Maybe not next year, seems a bit of overkill

I was talking about the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland Paris :)

Another vote for Simon's Brits Guide. :cheer2:

I also bought the AA Essential Guide, best borrowed from the library rather than bought as you would only read it the once. I also recommend the Knapsack guide which is aimed at children but I made sure I read it first! :rotfl:

Ah forgot about this. I have to sneek a look when the troops are not looking since it says adults keep out, and they take that as read :)

Hmmmmm....... which one do you think I would vote for? ;)

I would thoroughly recommend Alain Littaye and Didier Ghez's book, DLP: From Sketch to Reality. It is a truly superb piece of work and absolutely essential reading (and viewing!) for all DLP fans. I got one of the limited edition copies soon after it came out (ordered from Disney Village) and it is wonderful to dip in and out of from time to time.

My AA guide arrived last night; good overview, but I found so many spelling errors that it was driving me crazy. The author kept recommending that one enjoy 'deserts' all around the park.

And the opening year of Disneyland California is wrong in at least one place.

Again, a good basic but the errors did make my skin crawl!

Simon very good of you to praise others work. It is a book that I refer to often, but I know you cannot plug your own book but I think you know the feelings here. Brits guide to DLP is the must buy. Anything else is an extra :)

When is Simon's guide for 2006 due out?

If I'm not a brit but will still be in Paris and DLP, would this be a good book for me to get?

I recently ordered the simon guide from amazon and just got a reply (a week later) that is wasn't available. I am quite anxious because I am going in march and want to make plans. Any other sites I should try? I am in america and can't try the library.

thanks
