Best guess on when ticket expiration dates will change?

i know that tickets bought today must be used (at least the first day) by December 31, 2018. Anyone have a best/educated guess as to when Disney will extend that date and for how long they will extend it? I know the expiration date concept is relatively new and so no one likely knows for sure, but just wondering what y'all think.
