Best Grand Cayman excursion suggestions...

We did two excursions in that port. The morning we did the one that included swimming with the stingrays, with a stop at the turtle farm. Then in the afternoon we did the Atlantis submarine, which was also great.

Have not been yet (cruising in May), but planning on doing the Turtle Farm on our own. We have a 7 & 9 y.o. that I think will love it!!

I'm going to piggyback my question here - we are booked on the ship's excursion to the turtle farm, and are wondering if we love it, can we just stick around and not take the bus back to port? (Get ourselves back to port later, obviously)

Starfish beach is really only practical to visit by boat. A taxi would take about an hour each way and cost more than an excursion that includes the Stingrays in addition to Starfish beach.

No one is going to drag you back onto the excursion bus.

You can catch a taxi back to the port fairly easy or just wait a few minutes and flag down a passing bus.

Nativeways tour with Stingray city and Starfish beach. So amazing!

I googled this excursion after reading your post. Thank you! This is definitely what we will be doing!

I was hoping to do the Turtle farm as well, but doesn't look like there is an option for all of it.

They may be able to do a custom tour, I'm not sure. Wouldn't hurt to call. We also went to the beach before hand as they were running a bit behind after the Magic docked late that morning (we were on the Fantasy). They drove us there and then picked us up to go to the dock.

Starfish beach was the best part in my opinion and my husband loved the snorkelling in open water. We also had my dad with us and our two kids, 5 and 7. We all looooooved Grand Cayman. Have fun!

Thanks! My son will be 6 at time of travel, and he's an adventurous little boy. Disney has very high age limits for so many of their excursions which has made me look into other options.
