Best Glue for Glitter Paper

I am having a hard time getting photos to stick to some glittery background paper that I was given. Has anyone found a brand of glue that works well?

I use glue dots too...
I couldn't get the tape runner adhesive to give it a good "stick"...

I use the ATG tape for the most part, but also glue dots.

Just a warning...not sure what type of glittery paper you're using, but I tried to use Glue Dots on the new glittery "Core Couture" Coredinations paper...my stuff didn't stick! (ATG tape before that failed too.) Love this paper, but...had to turn to my trusty liquid Scotch Quick Dry (white) Adhesive, which worked like a charm.

(Although I HATE the new bottle this glue comes in - the new push-on top is totally the pits! Hope 3M/Scotch brings back the screw-top bottles. I've been refilling my old bottles...! This glue is great, but the "new and improved" bottles...NOT!)
