Which building/floor would you recommend of the garden view Poly rooms? I don't want a view of the car park pr anywhere potentially noisy! Many thanks

I would request a balcony and non-smoking. Non-smoking because one of the smoking buildings is next to the volcano pool (more noise potential) and a balcony because on some of the buildings the second floor has no balcony.

I wouldn't worry too much about getting a view of the parking lot. There aren't too many rooms that face it, and I would imagine that those would be the last rooms given out.

Well if you ask me Rapa Nui is my favorite. If you are facing the MK it is the last longhouse to the right. It is an easy walk to the TTC and the rooms here are bigger (as with Tokelau and Hawaii). You may have a view of the parking lot here.

I have never stayed in the longhouses to the left of the Great Ceremonial House but have heard that they can become a wee bit noisy due to the Luau at night. Also the long houses that border the pools may be a bit noisy too, depending on when you go.

I suggest visiting the tikiman's web site at http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/poly2.html

It is a great web site and he describes the longhouses (on one of the pages-can't remember which one). But it may be a little more help to you.

Over Memorial Day weekend my fiancee and I stayed at the Poly and had the most wonderful garden view room. We followed Tikiman's advice on his website and requested the Tokelau building third floor towards the lagoon. Our room was "garden view" but could of easily been a lagoon view room. We faced a quiet garden area and to the left was the lagoon with wonderful views of the Contemporary and Space Mountain! I was in heaven!
Have a magical time!:bounce:

We stayed there in march for our honeymoon. I can't remember of hand what the exact room number was but 3917 sounds close! The view was "garden" but we could see the ferry boat launch from the TTC and the contempoary. The building is centrally located close to the quite pool and the same distance(imho) from the TTC as it was to the main building. One other thing the rooms are slightly larger in that building!
