Best Games for iPOD Touch

I am breaking dowm and getting Ds an iPOD Touch from Santa. I know nothing about iPODs or the games for them. Could you tell me your favorite games??? How much are they?? Will the Apple store download them for me??? My DS is going to be 10. I did see an Airport game I think he would really like. Thanks

My kids love Angry Birds. If your kids have favorite board games, there is probably a version of that game for the i-touch.

$25 should get him alot of games, there are tons of them that are totally free. dd9 likes angry birds, battleship, hangman, airhockey diner dash, rush hour, dino surf, oven break, skee-ball and the new smurfs game.

$25 would be more than enough to get him started, many apps are free and others are just a couple of dollars. I'm sure he will love it.

Angry Birds! We have all the different versions: Lite, Halloween and just installed Seasons today. And if you like Angry Birds we just started playing Pee Monkey Plant Bloom. It's like Angry Birds except you're a monkey peeing into a potted plant to make it bloom. DS16 thinks it's hilarious, of course!

My boys love Angry Birds, Doodle Jump, Skee Ball, Trace, Disney Sliders, Cut the Rope, Bejeweled2, Life, and Monopoly, to name a few. They love the iPod touch!

also most games have a "lite" version that is free. its usually the first level or two of the game so before you buy look for the lite version to make sure you like it!

All of the games are available on the iTunes store. The prices on games varies from .99 to sometimes 3.99. Sometimes the more expensive games will go sale at times you should just need to keep your eye out.
