Can she book my rooms and stay with me the first night? What about her buying my tickets???

I'm not sure about the room, I imagine if she uses her name it would be okay. They do check driver's licenses for the passes I believe. Our family lives in FL and got awesome rates at the deluxes last year.

I believe they finger scan you for a residents pass. The first time you go through the gate, you will need to show your FLORIDA drivers license and get your finger scanned. From then on, to get through the turnstyles, you need your finger and your pass.

WDW has caught onto the friend in Florida trick and taken measures to make sure it doesn't work. I wouldn't be surprised if they ask for your license at check in at the resorts as well.

I believe it would be ok on the room as long as the friend checks you in but for the passes you will not be able to get the fl resident rates because they check everyone's Id in order to process the tickets, so that would not work. Being a Fl resident we just went in march and used the play 4 days pass wich was great! 4 days for only $109, I bought them at AAA, and they gave me four vouchers which I had to turn in at the ticket gate for the actual passes but each ticket holder had to provide ID and we did have to use the finger scan thing Im sorry:( Guess you'll just have to move here

Your picture is not on the pass but your name is and at some of the parks, the finger thing didn't work and we were required to show Id to get in
