Which hotel would you choose for teenagers? Royal Pacific in a Pool View room or Hard Rock in a Garden View? Any particular floor or room? I want to get the greatest view for my money........ My husband is letting me splurge:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We have 3 teenagers and always pick Hard Rock...they love it there.

Another vote for Hard Rock. We have been going since our were in their teens (28 and 25 now) and they still love the Hard Rock. We were there three weeks ago and had a garden view overlooking the boat dock. We book through Loews and use our AAA discount and by booking a garden view with the AAA price we are guaranteed connecting rooms since we have been getting two rooms for several years now since even though there are only 4 of us we have a son and daughter and we need the extra room and the extra bathroom is a must.

One more for HRH... the music theme is just so cool for the teen group. Just about every hallway has music memorabilia. You here rock music everywhere (and Hotel California plays on the dot at 5:30 every night :) they even pump the music UNDER the water at the pool. Even the hotel rooms sort of have that Hard Rock feel to them.

i would save money and stay at rph.

you can pool hop to any 3 of the hotel pools, restaurants, shops, etc.

no need to bring towels to the pool, show your hotel key for them.

all 3 hotels have the dive in movies and games around the pool through out the day.

rph is closest to ioa and city walk.
hrh is closest to the studios.

if you are going during a time that has extended park hours, i'm sure the kids would be in the park or in the pool more than the room or hotel itself.

I recently booked our early Dec trip with teenagers so I will offer my thoughts on that. Our trip is a 16th birthday present for my daughter. She is bringing her two best friends. Although we have been to Universal many times, this is a big deal because she has never had a friend come with her. Also at this age we plan to give them a little more independence and will allow the three of them to tour the parks separately from us. Neither of her friends have been before, and none of us have been since WWOHP opened. Because this is a special trip and one that she will likely always remember, I really want to make it the best it can be.

We have stayed at both hotels before. The RP is beautiful; the HR is "cool". You really can't go wrong with either one. She has even told me it doesn't matter to her where we stay. So, if the trip were just my family (me, hubby, 2 teenage daughters), I would probably save the money and stay at RPR. But to me, the hotel that screams out the celebration of the teenage and young adult years is Hard Rock. And for this particular trip, I wouldn't choose any other hotel.
