We will be going on an adult trip when we go to WDW. We are partial to quiet booths, good food, and good views. I am starting my list. We are not into stuffy (formal) and will be in jeans or capris. No burger joints. Booze is good... We are considering the dining plan and are trying to figure out if our choices for restaurants will make the DLP a good deal or not. We plan on being there for 12 days and are planning on POR (although we may split our stay) so we need quite a few choices. Thanks!

These are the restaurants my DH and I enjoy. We seem to enjoy the same type of places (though we do like a good burger joint now and again).

Jiko at AKL
California Grill at Contemporary
Brown Derby in Disney Studios park
Concourse Steakhouse at Contemporary
Yahtsman Steakhouse at the Yaht Club
Le Cellier in Canada in the Epcot World Showcase
Boatwrights (for breakfast) at PO Riverside

Have fun.

Not frou-frou, but calm, with a good view and good food is my fave, too. No way to escape the kiddies at WDW, especially in summer, but...

I like Mexico's San Angel Inn. We lucked out once and got the most excellent view up in the front. But the whole place is nice, I think. Another one I like a lot is the Kona Cafe at the Poly. We went for lunch and sat up close, by the window and saw all that luscious tropical foliage and water, too.

Restaurant Marrakesh in Morocco. It isn't super-quiet, because the belly dancer comes out and does her thing, but we like it.
:flower:

Chefs de France in Epcot is another good one, as is Coral Reef. Nice atmospheres, lovely food, great wine/drink choices, and some kids (such as our own darling DS, 7, who behaves beautifully in restaurants) but not generally big kid/family places....

I'd also add the following:

Flying Fish at Boardwalk
Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge
Palio at Swan
Citricos at Grand Floridian

My favorites are:

Citrico
Artist Point
Flying Fish
Wolfgang Puck Cafe

DH love the California Grill

My favorites would have to be: (and not in any order) LOL

Brown Derby
Artist Point
Coral Reef
Tony's
Cinderella's Royal Table
Wolfgang Puck's upstairs dinning room

Good luck and have a great time! :flower3:

Blue Zoo
Shula's
Palio
Jiko
Flying Fish
Yachtsman Steakhouse
Artist Point
Portobello Yacht Club
Pucks Upstairs
Bistro De Paris
Citricos

Brown Derby Narcoosees and CG on maybe list, food is top notch but can be noisy. FF too but it's too good to leave off :)
Maybe Raglan Road or House of Blues never been.

There's enough for 12 days, but i will warn you that you will be quite a bit lighter in the pocketbook. Most if not all of these are also 2 TS credits i believe also. But that's the price to pay for what you want. If you don't do the DP (or maybe even if you do) one of you should get an Annual Pass which allows you to buy a Disney Dining Experience card for $60 and gets you a 20% discount at most of these plus more (including booze)

Pop over here and check out the menus http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#res

BF and I (no spring chicks...51 and 47) are going in November and we have decided on the DP because it would be like B1G1F...one good meal is easily $60 and that leaves lunch and snacks outta the equation.

We are doing Jiko, Marrakesh, Teppanayaki (sp?) so far...and still think it will be a great deal...less hassle if nothing else.

We like California Grill, Narcoossees and Wolfgang Puck's. I have also heard rave reviews about Citricos and Le Cellier (which we will be trying in a little over two weeks!)

"Quiet booths" got my attention--and at WDW quiet dining isn't too easy to find. In my experience, the most "adult friendly" places are Citricos, Palio, Blue Zoo, Wolfgang's Fine Dining, and Bistro D' Paris.

We are just back and because of illness did not get to enjoy any of the "adult only" meals we had hoped for. We have now been to WDW 20 times on family vacations, but only dined at the Coral Reef for the first time this vacation. Even though we dined here as a family, I feel this restaurant would fulfill your criteria nicely. Quiet booths, delicious food, great view and fabulous service. Yes, there were children there. But, with the right booth, I think you'd hardly notice. It was a quiet meal for WDW.
