I am making a grocery stop on my way in. I am looking for anyones input on good breakfast foods, healthly snacks mid-day(maybe pool time) or anything I might forget to buy. Thanks!! :dance3:

I don't know if they have them in FLA but my kids love Bagelers. Having a fridge in the room is awesome but a lot of breakfast foods need a toaster too. Bagelers have the cream cheese already in them.

They say on their web site that they can be kept at room temp for 36 hours. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Other one my kids love are Uncrustables.

Oh wait, did you say healthy? :confused3 Um raisin?

Hmmm I have never heard of these Bagelers you talk of!! They sound good. :) I only say healthy because while you are at the parks it seems you eat more sugar then anything!!:upsidedow Mickey ice creams, dole whips, etc.

So I would like to start the day with more then sugar filled cereal!!

Regardless.....we leave tomorrow!!!

I know this won't help the OP who is already down at DW, but I would suggest Luna bars. They are 80% organic and so yummy! (I like the cokkies & cream, S'mores, Peanut Butter Cookie, and Chocolate Peppermint Stick varieties) They are all under 200 calories and have a decent amount of fiber so you'll feel full after you eat them for a little while. This is what I am planning to bring for breakfasts.

We bring cereal bars for breakfast...not really that healthy BUT they are convenient. Plus we always bring 100 calorie snack packs for the parks for we aren't as tempted by all the goodies in the parks. For our room, we have canisters of FF Pringles.
We are staying at AKL this year and will have a fridge so I'm thinking about bringing some cereal cups and buying milk for DD. Me and DH...we're not big breakfast eaters...(I know, I know, it's the most important meal!!!).

For breakfast, we usually get cereal and bananas (milk in the fridge in the room). Pretty easy for a quick breakfast. [I also highly recommend getting some chocolate chip muffins from Epcot at Sunshine Seasons - they're fabulous! (When we went to Epcot, I would always buy one for breakfast the next day.) Not especially nutritious, but they're really good!]

For snacks in the room/at the pool, we got cheese and crackers, peanut butter crackers, salsa and tortilla chips, cookies and fruit. We do most of our eating at the parks, including snacks, but it was very handy to have some more substantial snacks when we went on our last trip - we got stuck in the room for the better part of a day during Hurricane Wilma! They asked us not to leave our rooms, so it was great to have some things to snack on. I'm sure the restaurants at our hotel were packed, since everyone was confined to the resort until the "all clear" was given, so we were so happy to have some stuff to eat.

We are big fans of breakfast bar. My DH's favorite right now are the Target brand that has peanut butter & choc. chips in them. Sure, they're not all that healthy, but it does get him to eat something for breakfast. The girls like them, too. I do recommend packs of peanut butter & crackers (nabs, we call them) or other varieties w/crackers. They are handy, easy to pack, and can get you through in a pinch.

My dh is really into the Protein bars instead of granola bars ( I however am an unhealthy eater and prefer junk LOL). We also buy fruit. Pretzels work good also. enjoy

Hope the OP is having/had a wonderful time!
Anywho, we reserved a fridge and made a grocery stop whe we had town car service. So we picked up bread, milk, PB & J, deli ham & cheese. String cheese, cereal cups, granola bars. I packed peanut butter & cheese crackers. Bring ziplocs...they always come in handy!

I grew up eating sandwiches for breakfast so the idea of a ham and cheese sandwich is fine for me. Or even PB&J since I eat it already on toast and bagels.

So for that trip we ate breakfast everyday except our last in our room and usually brought sanwiches & snacks for lunch/ grazing. Saved us mucho bucks...We just kept them in our backpack...

We take breakfast bars (we like the quaker chewy dipps), muffins, and fruit for breakfast
For in park snacks we take rice krispie treats, nuts, pretzels, crackers (with and without cheese in middle) I have on occasion also taken the chicken/ tuna lunch to go packs if I was tired of the CS meals on a long trip or know we have a big dinner planned and just wanted something light for lunch
Also, my oldest eats only Turkey pepperoni or string cheese as his protein sources so I will take those and place them under our frozen water bottles in our backpack and they stay fine even in July

We like to pack granola bars - especially the TLC brand ones because they're very healthy. They're very easy to travel with as well.

ALMONDS! YUMMY AND HEALTHY. Costco sells them in individual packages.

My step kids love dry cheerios. We put them in zip lock baggies...that's their breakfast every day of the world. Won't hear of anything else. :) It's a healthy cereal and fills their tummies. It'll be great to carry with us in the parks too! We're also going to have milk and yogurt and fruit in the fridge for breakfast and snack options as well. :)

I brought oatmeal cups and got hot water from the food court. There is hot water for the hot tea with the coffee.

Our resort (All*Movies) had a toaster out. You could bring bagels or bread. Pop tarts.
