A little known Dole pineapple stand is a great spot in Adventureland. You will see it two ways, coming from the center to Adventureland it will be the the first restaurant on the right. Its nothing fancy just a little window and counter place. In spite of this the floats and swirls are fantastic!!!!!!!!! I absolutely love it.

We found this by accident on our third trip. We might have never known of it. I don't want to miss out on all the other great treats so tell me about them.

I never miss out on the ice cream sandwiches at the Sleepy Hollow snack shop in Liberty Square at MK. So delicious! :worship:

You found the dole whips! Yes, they are a great snack!

We love the fresh roasted almonds sold at stands thoughout the parks.

Epcot, walking towards france, at japan, there is a small cart on the right before Japan with awesome snocones. . .yummy(shaved ice with fruit flavors)

I'm not sure of the name, I think it may also be sleepy hollow, but it is at the end of the walkway from fantasy land to liberty square, right across from the picture spot of the castle. Yummy funnel cakes and cookies, and there are tables and chairs for a nice quiet are to sit and people watch.

Yep, the place with the cookies and funnel cakes is Sleepy Hollow. ::yes:: I actually worked there for a while. I like the funnel cakes with just cinnamon sugar, plus they stock those awesome iced capuccinos too. :9 I've seen lots of characters hanging out in the sitting area that was mentioned, Donald Duck and the Cinderella mice to name a few, and it never gets too crowded because not many people seem to notice them in that sort of out of the way location.

I like the Dole Whips as well; I just had my first float, but I think I still prefer my usual vanilla/pineapple twist with "lots and lots" of sprinkles.

I've heard a lot of recommendations for the snow cone type treats in Epcot, so I'll keep a look out for those on my next visit. Another great place for sweet snacks in Epcot is the pastry shop tucked away towards the back of France. Good stuff!

:wave2: Just want to know if the shave ice at epcot is just a normal snow cone type or is it different? How much is it and what flavors and such. Tried the dole whips a few trips ago and have been hooked ever since so need to find a goodie at epcot! :cloud9:

i love the crepes sold in France pavillion
i always have to have a strawberry crepe at east once during out stay

Unfortunately, from what I've read on these boards lately, the beaver tail cart in EPCOT is no more. Darn!!!

Two questions:
What is a beaver tail?

Do they have many flavors at the snow cone stand in Epcot?

snow cones at Japan. . .let me see if I can remember

There are three orange, green, and red

red--strawberry
green--i think honeydew
orange--tangerine??

Aren't they called Kaki Gori?

It is more of a shaved ice than a snow cone. Much softer in your mouth. I just melts when it hits your lips. yummmmm.

O
our favorite place in MGM is the Commissary. Its kind of hidden but you'll get to it by looking at the map. Its between Mickey Avenue where you can greet the characters and the backlot tours. Yummy :mickeybar
The breakfast is awesome so take advantage of the early hours or just show up at opening time. You can ride the big rides with usually long lines that will be at that time of day shorter. Then once they get crowded you can continue on up to the commisary. Its awesome!!!

Get the fish and chips at lunchtime if you go then.  :mickeybar :bounce: :bounce: :rolleyes1 :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Found this on InterCot regarding what a beaver tail is (was):

Trapper Bob's Beaver Tails
Canada – Epcot’s World Showcase

A "Beaver Tail" is a flat cooked whole wheat pastry, shaped like the tail of Canada's favorite animal!

Beaver Tail Toppings:

Chocolate Hazelnut and Sugar - $3.50
Maple and Chocolate - $3.50
Strawberries and Whipped Cream - $3.25
Apples and Cinnamon - $3.25
Killaloe Sunrise - $3.00
Cinnamon and Sugar - $3.00

 Some of my favorite snacks and you're making me hungry. Kaki Gori is wonderful, not so much a snocone but very fine almost as fine as real snow.
Carmel corn is really good too. If you liked the Dole Whip, try a Citrus Swirl in Adventureland at Sunshine Tree Terrace.
