What is your favorite food item (not junk food) that is found in the parks?
It seems like whenever the subject of great tasting food is mentioned it is always found outside of the parks. When people talk about what is their favorite food to eat in the parks, it's always "junk food" such as Dole Whips, Beaver Tails, rice crispies, etc.
I eat all my meals in the park so I'm looking for suggestions.

You know, now that you mention it Im realizing we do eat at a lot more meals at resorts as opposed to the parks.

For a park restuarant, I think Mama Melrose would have to be our favorite. We always seem to end up going back there(7 trips in a row now), and with the exception of 1 dissapointment due to a changed menu, we have had consistently great meals and service. We will be returning there again in July.

Outside of Disney world, I don't consider myself to be a picky eater- But, I since don't eat any traditional fast food (Mc'D's, BK, KFC) I almost always have to go to a sit down place to eat at WDW since everything else is the same burgers and chicken fingers.

I love the Ravioli at the Brown Derby -- It is portobello and chevre with a tomato fennel sauce. Had it for lunch today! They also have a great Cobb salad.

The salads at Columbia Harbor house are pretty great too. The filet and Root mashed at CRT are fabulous.

I also think the bakery on main street is one of the best places for a quick lunch. They have several pre-made sandwhiches already wrapped up. I like the tomato, basil, mozzerella-- They are great if you are in a hurry, you can eat and walk or eat in line, and clean up is so simple!

Epcot has to be the best for eating "real food" though.. there are so many choices.

Not sure if you mean counter service or park restaurant. We hardly ever do counter service, so here's our favorites at the parks

Magic Kingdom---Plaza Restaurant

EPCOT--Le Cellier and also Le Kringla Bakeri in Norway, one of our few counter services we love, it's a never miss.

MGM---Sci Fi, I know it's expensive, but we like the shakes and malts

I have never eaten at Animal Kingdom
