Hi there! We're renting at BWV at the end of June (a studio). Can anyone give me advice on where to request the room once we arrive? I'm open to any suggestions regarding views, closeness to elevators, etc. Any favorites? Thank you! :wave2:

if you have a standard view - then you will get the front of BWV - where the entry way is.

if you have a preferred view - you will probably get the main pool view - just because there are more of them.

you won't be a BW view unless you reservation states preferred view - BW.

Don't wait until you arrive, its too late then. Call MS and have your requests noted on the reservation.

boy I need to read better - there is only one set of elevators in all BWV -so if you need to be near the elevators make that your only request.

I have stayed on 4th, 3rd and 1st floor. like them all!!!

Luckily none of us *need* to be near the elevators, I just wondered if it was worth a shot. Sounds like I should make a call about view though -- at the resorts we've found it doesn't hurt to ask at check-in, but I will probably try to make a call for this one. Thanks!

Since you are renting, the member would have to make any requests to add to the reservation. Technically, you don't have any access to the reservation from MS other than asking if it is still in place.

We always ask for a room AWAY from the elevators. We had a room just a few doors down from the elevator bay once, and it was much noisier than other areas of the villas. There's often someone (or a family) waiting for an elevator, or calling down the hall that they're holding the elevator, or not to forget the water bottles....we'd rather have a walk to our room, and a quieter stay.

We actually like staying in the rooms closest to MGM, overlooking the quiet pool. It's a bit further to Epcot, but less than 10 minutes to/from either Epcot or MGM. This is great when you're leaving the park at closing time and want to bypass the transportation crowds!
