Best Fireworks Viewing w/ minimal crowds

Sgray: If illuminations is at 9:30, would an 8:45pm reservation be early enough to get a good view or should I keep trying for an earlier time? We are going December 3. Thank you.

You should be OK, but I would recommend a little earlier if possible. I usually do 8 or 8:15 in case there is a wait, although in December that probably won't be a problem. We take our time and try to at least have our entree finished so we can relax with some coffee or a margarita and just enjoy the show! The tables right by the windows are the best, but the restaurant is set up so that a good many of the seats will allow a view.

Funny this thread is so new I literally just found out about this restaurant yesterday(the new La Hacienda) for viewing illuminations and decided to search this forum. From the photos on Disneys website it looks like there are just tables by the windows on the floor then elevated booths. Are there any other seats in there that would give you a bad view? If yes and you sat there then what are your options?
