So, I know there have been many threads on people's favorite counter service restaurants, but what I'm really interested in is people's favorite counter service items. Even if a place doesn't have a huge array of items, it might have one gem, and I want to know about it!!!

So, what are you're favorites, dishes and locations? Does someone do the basic burger and fries better than anyone else? Or does someone have a veggie sandwich that's a must try, even for non-vegetarians?

Thanks in advance!:)

PECOS BILL'S!!!
Ok, so you really want the actual item....DH loves the double cheese burger there and from the bites of his I've stolen, hands-down awesome! I always get the chicken jicima salad there....excellent!!!

ABC Commissary....Cuban Sandwich! I was so surprised by how much I loved this!!! I now make them at home!

POFQ food court and El Pirata/El Perico....taco salad.

AS-Food Courts....chicken quesadilla...DH swears by these! He'll be devestated to know POP doesn't have them when we go in Aug..

Flame Tree Barbeque @Animal Kingdom - Smoked Barbeque Chicken Salad.

Love it. DH who does not eat salads at home, had this a few times last year.

I also had the taco salad at the POFQ foodcourt, and it was really good!!!
As is the grilled chicken caesar salad at the ASMo food court.

Definitely need to remember the BBQ chicken salad at Flame Tree (now that I won't be able to get my favorite turkey wrap and corn chowder at Tusker House :( )

Forgot about the taco salad at ASMovies, it was great!

The rotissere chicken with mashed potatoes and veggies and the soon no-longer-to-be Tusker House.

I second this.....
I also will be eating this on Sept 6th..... :goodvibes

I've been dreaming of the Columbia Harbor House's Starboard Deck Sandwich since I first had one last December. :goodvibes

Its just a snack, but~ in Fantasyland, by Dumbo and Ariels Grotto, in the morn they have hot muffins and pretzels as well as frozen Cokes. Now thats my idea of a morning treat! (the birds and ducks by the tables over there think so too  )

By park:

MK - COlumbia Harbor House 1/2 a tuna sandwich and clam chowder
MGM- Cuban at ABC Commissary and new favorite at Backlot the turkey sandwich with roasted peppers and arugala. Mmmmmm!
AK - Flame Tree the BBQ roasted chicken will be my replacement for the Tusker house version. Was very good last trip. Also can't wait to try Yak and Yeti asian influence when it opens.
Epcot - Sunshine seasons in the Land is hands down for the variety but my favorite there is the Grilled Salmon with an olive tapenade and mashed potatoes.

Favorite CS desserts - Sunshine Seasons bakery counter. Most everything is considered for the DDP CS meal. Mmmmmmm the choices.......

Cafe Tangeiene in the World Showcase had a different selction that was really good. And DD5 loved that they had chicken and fries. The lamb combo with hummus, couscous etc was really nice and fresh. A nice change from burgers and chicken. I personally did not like the burgers at Pecos Bills' or Cosmic Rays. Thought they were dry even with the grilled onions etc. and the fries were blah

I loved the Chicken Wrap from Pecos Bills. I just wish the children's menu was a little better.

For me I really like the fish at the Columbia House and there soup is very good too! DH really liked the veggie burger at the Pop's CS place (can't remember the name). He said it was one of the best veggie burger he has had.

The Banana Split Cake at Boardwalk Bakery. OMG!!! It is soooo good. And worth a special trip over to the BW.

I almost got the lamb combo last trip, but was wary about eating lamb at a theme park. I guess it would be about the same as the lamb in gyros anywhere else, though. Might have to try this in Aug.
