I posted this in Theme Park Attractions & Strategies but I'm not sure if that was the right place so I thought I'd try here too...
We just returned from our family vacation last week. I've now got my mom hooked and she really wants to experience Epcot on an adult level. What better way to do that, than during the Food & Wine Festival. My aunt would also love to go as she has never been...at all!! (Side note: her DS13 has ASD & ODD so bringing him would not really be possible; he is also recently in a group home right now...she's had a VERY difficult time, being a single mom (artificially inseminated) to a special needs child. She deserves a break and we would go during her birthday!) So I'm thinking a girls "weekend" for F&W 2014. Arrive late Wednesday night, do F&W during the day on Thursday (10/16) & Friday. Parks and resorts evenings and Saturday. Leave Sunday (10/19) morning. IF we could get free QS dining, it's looking like one room at Pop plus 3 day PH would run us approximately $540/ea. Obviously this does not include airfare, additional food/drink, or souvenirs (mom has mentioned Christmas shopping!). I'm wondering what the best and most affordable way to approach F&W is. I would also like to go back as a family in February of 2015 for DD's 5th bday...so our F&W wknd has to be as inexpensive as possible while still enjoying it!
