Best Exchange Rate?

Anyone know where is offering the best rate at the moment? I was hoping that Thomas Cook or Thompson would be bringing back their $2:£1 promotions, but with the exchange having dropped quite considerably lately I guess it's unlikely now.

DH asked about the $2:£1 deal on Friday and they said that they may be doing it again in a few weeks so we are keeping an eye out for it!

I hope it will come back soon, but the way the exchange rate is dropping I am not sure how they will make a profit if they bring back the $2:£1 deal??

We've been today Sunday & got $1.92 at Going Places because we bought just over £1000.

Not as good as $2 but Ididn't have the money to spend then!

I assume they bought super amounts of $$$$$$$$ when the rate was higher a few weeks back, on the basis of running these promotions. But I agree, they could now get away with offering less $ since the rate has dropped by those few cents.

Crown Exchange has been offering $1.98 for the last 2 days for deliveries in 31-40 days.

They seem to be top of the comparision charts every time.
