Hello to everyone. I will like to know your opinions over the restaurants at Epcot. A top five best and worst would be great.
Thanks.

Favorite - Coral Reef: This place gets mixed reviews, but we had a very good meal there. The steak was so good. Bailey's & Jack Daniels Chocolate Mousse for dessert. One of my favorite meals ever at Disney.
Least Favorite - Tokyo Dining: We may have eaten there on an "off night" where they just weren't having a good service. We did not enjoy our meal at all.
This isn't exactly a top 5, but it is our number 1 and our least favorite. We have only dined at about 8 of the Epcot restaurants.

Thanks for your comment. It's seems that the Coral Reef have a mixed of opinions. I'll definitely give it a try in my December trip. Have you go to Chef the France?

We loved le cielier. Askerkas ok for princesses. Disliked biergarden and disliked coral reef. Trying France this month.

So far my favorites are:

Teppan Edo
La Hacienda de SAN Angel
SAN Angel Inn
Spice road Table
Chefs de France

I still have not tried them all. I am working my way. I want to try a few like nine dragons, Canada and the fish and chips at the pub.

I've eaten at all of them. You are definitely going to get different opinions on all of the restaurants!

Coral Reef - it's fine, nothing great. the aquarium is lovely
Le Cellier - food is good, but a bit pricey. the restaurant feels very cramped IMHO
Rose and Crown - good, though I'm not a big fan of British food.
Chefs de France - lovely atmosphere, food is incredibly salty and mediocre
Monsieur Paul - lovely intimate restaurant, excellent food and service. if you want a signature in EP, this is the one to go to, IMHO
Marrakesh - nice atmosphere, food is pretty bad
Spice Road Table - our favorite TS in EP. Great atmosphere and food and incredibly friendly staff
Tokyo Dining - used to be great until they changed their menu. Really sub-standard sushi. Staff is very nice!
Teppan Edo - overly salted, not very entertaining. I'd save your money
Via Napoli - really good pizza!
Tutto Italia - overpriced, subpar Italian food. If you want good Italian, go to Il Mulino at the Swan
Biergarten - kind of fun, food is good, have never had good table mates so kind of uncomfortable seating configuration. If you don't mind eating with people who may not acknowledge your existence, go for it
Nine Dragons - used to be great! honestly, haven't eaten here in years after having a very bad experience
Akershus - good food, lovely character interaction. if you aren't going for the charaters, a bit pricey
La Hacienda - the better of the Mexican restaurants, atmosphere is ok
San Angel - atmosphere is amazing, food is inedible.

No, I have not eaten there. I have heard good things about it. Coral Reef does get mixed reviews. We have eaten there 3 times. The first time was not very good, but for some reason we decided to try it again. The last two times we ate there, it was very good. We plan on going there again on our next trip for the steak.

The food at EPCOT to us has always been good to horrible, nothing great. Just an easy 2-3 minute walk through the International Gateway between France and GB, lies 2 of the better restaurants in all of WDW. Flying Fish and Yachtman's Steakhouse. You cant go wrong with either and both are far superior to anything served at EPCOT.

As with any asked for opinions on restaurants, you will get responses across the spectrum. Still, it's usually fun to get varied opinions; however, my best advice is to not be afraid to try what you want in order to form your own judgments. That being said, here are a few of my thoughts:

PREFERRED
Coral Reef - Yes, mixed reviews but I've only had good service and food during my visits. Octopus appetizer is one of the better dishes we've tried at any Disney restaurant. Decent wine list and watching the aquatic life (and divers) in the tank is a bonus.
Tutto Gusto Wine Cellar - Excellent small plates/antipasto, superb wine list, and lovely, relaxed ambiance. Best of the three I've listed here.
Tutto Italia - Solid food and service, though I agree with previous poster that Il Mulino is a much better option with small plates as an available option and much better wine list.

MIDDLE OF THE ROAD
Marrakesh - While not the best Middle Eastern cuisine I've had, it's certainly decent. Service has been good.
Rose and Crown - Tasty food and a fun atmosphere. Not a must-do, but certainly is enjoyable.
Akershus - Breakfast, at least. Cheesy potatoes are addictive. Princess interaction is good. A bit pricey.

UNREMARKABLE
San Angel - Food is unimaginative and poorly executed. Too bad as ambiance can be good (though often too crowded).
Monsieur Paul - Truthfully, this belongs in a separate category such as AWFUL. By far, the worst dining experience I've had in the World. Overpriced menu. Sloppily executed dishes. Poor service. The food & service would have been sub-par without the distinction of being a Signature; since it is one, they were stunningly bad.

Here is my opinion on all of the ones I've tried:

Garden Grill: One of my favorites! There's something about knowing that your food is coming from the ride below that makes my day. lol
Le Cellier: It's so expensive but honestly I've never had a bad meal here. IMO the food has improved over the years.
Rose and crown: I've eaten here several times and always found the food to be pretty good. Also gotten better over the years. Not a fan of the tasteless fish and chips you get at the CS spot though.
Chefs de France: I haven't a clue what people see in this place? The entrees are very VERY similar tasting to a Lean Cuisine to me. I've lived on them all my life...I should know. lol
Teppan Edo: If you have good Japanese in your area you will be very disappointed by this dumbed down version.
Marrakesh: I quite enjoy this one but it's not going to be for everyone. I like the atmosphere and entertainment better than the food. It's hard to pay top dollar for couscous.
Coral Reef: Probably one of the noisiest restaurants on property and it contradicts the beautiful scenery. Totally ruins it. I have tried this twice and the food was nothing short of horrible.
Via Napoli: It's okay at best. Soggy pizza isn't my thing, but people seem to love it.
Biergarten: Neat atmosphere, awkward sitting with strangers, food isn't memorable but I'd do it again.
Nine Dragons: Absolutely gross.
Akershus: Used to be good, of course they take the good stuff off of the menu. Not a good value at all considering it's no longer all you can eat...except if you like cold scrambled eggs and various pickled herring! YUK!
San Angel Inn: I love the Pollo Ala Rajas here. You can't find it on any other menu that I've seen. Love love love the atmosphere and depending on what you get the food is pretty good although it used to be much better than my last few visits.

I got reservation to Flying Fish. I can't wait to eat there. Any recommendations over the menu at Flying Fish?

Looks like you have lots of insight! I'll throw one more in the ring. Just outside of Epcot is the Yachtsman. If you're looking for a steak, you can't beat it!
