Some of my top favorites are:
1. Via Napoli
2. Le Cellier
3. Akershus (breakfast)

My least favorite that I have tried has been Teppan Edo. The food wasn't horrible but it wasn't one of my favorites. Our upcoming trip we are trying Garden Grill breakfast and San Angel Inn for dinner.
I heard breakfast at Garden Grill are great. I'm looking into that on my December trip.

It seems that Biergarten is a favorite of many. Thanks for your insight. That will be my go to restaurants in my oncoming trip.

1. Via Napoli - amazing pizza
2. Le Cellier - best filet on property. Just order entree w/o sides to keep price down.
3. China - always a good fallback.

Just around the corner is Shula's. Best beef outside Epcot. Split the filet in half, save a few bucks with a guest. It is huge.

I'll be alone... so all the filet to me lol

We don't really have a bottom 5 as we avoid ones that don't appeal to us.

We have eaten multiple times at Chefs, Tutto and Le Cellier and really enjoy them all. We only ate once at Marrakesh and enjoyed it although I am not a big fan of couscous.

1. Monsieur Paul - upscale NICE food!!!
2. San Angel Inn - can't go wrong
3. Le Cellier - best filet Mignon
4. Marrakesh - I love this b/c it's unique!
5. Teppan Edo (hibachi side) Fun to watch and served according to your wants/ great for kids!

My least favorite was the coral reef b/c it echos/ is noisy. Also, the food was too normal for me, and I look for unique... not here. BORING!!!

Akershus - Love this place. Best breakfast on property
Tutto Italia - ok. Likely will not return
San Angel Inn - love the atmosphere and food. A surprise favorite
Garden Grill - It was ok. Likely will not return soon.
Biergarten - great atmosphere, terrible food
Via Napoli and Chefs de France - might do next trip

Thanks for your comment. It's seems that the Coral Reef have a mixed of opinions. I'll definitely give it a try in my December trip. Have you go to Chef the France?

I used to eat at Chefs de France every visit (since I was 12... I'm 44). Over the years the food quality (of the main entrees, the deserts and appetizers are still delicious) has slipped a bit, and the service has felt extremely rushed and even a bordering on rude at times. I gave it multiple chances, for the sake of tradition, but eventually gave up on it after my visit last year. I still need my lobster bisque and creme brûlée, but I'll get them from Les Halles Boulangerie instead.

Better than the Boat House?
Way better than the Boathouse. We had both terrible service and a lousy steak at the Boathouse. The signature 28 ounce porterhouse for two was served as an uncut chunck of meat on the bone. I had to carve it myself into slices of the filet and strip portions. When we've enjoyed a similar large (28 - 32 ounce) steak at Morton's or one of the other premium chain steakhouses (including Gibson's, the operator of the Boathouse), the server presented the cooked meat, then carved and served it at the table, ready for us to enjoy. I think the servers at the Boathouse have not been properly trained in how to serve premium steaks.

I've eaten at all of them. You are definitely going to get different opinions on all of the restaurants!

Coral Reef - it's fine, nothing great. the aquarium is lovely
Le Cellier - food is good, but a bit pricey. the restaurant feels very cramped IMHO
Rose and Crown - good, though I'm not a big fan of British food.
Chefs de France - lovely atmosphere, food is incredibly salty and mediocre
Monsieur Paul - lovely intimate restaurant, excellent food and service. if you want a signature in EP, this is the one to go to, IMHO
Marrakesh - nice atmosphere, food is pretty bad
Spice Road Table - our favorite TS in EP. Great atmosphere and food and incredibly friendly staff
Tokyo Dining - used to be great until they changed their menu. Really sub-standard sushi. Staff is very nice!
Teppan Edo - overly salted, not very entertaining. I'd save your money
Via Napoli - really good pizza!
Tutto Italia - overpriced, subpar Italian food. If you want good Italian, go to Il Mulino at the Swan
Biergarten - kind of fun, food is good, have never had good table mates so kind of uncomfortable seating configuration. If you don't mind eating with people who may not acknowledge your existence, go for it
Nine Dragons - used to be great! honestly, haven't eaten here in years after having a very bad experience
Akershus - good food, lovely character interaction. if you aren't going for the charaters, a bit pricey
La Hacienda - the better of the Mexican restaurants, atmosphere is ok
San Angel - atmosphere is amazing, food is inedible.

I'd say that my thoughts on some of the places you don't like confirm that the restaurant opinions are varied and personal. Not picking on you at all but I disagree on a few places (we have not eaten at all of them):

Via Napoli - I thought the pizza was good but not really good (though our daughter didn't like it at all), and the atmosphere was very nice outside but super loud and not good inside.

San Angel - atmosphere was good (if a bit dark). We thought the food was pretty good too, except for the salsa, which tasted like ketchup.

Chefs de France - we really enjoyed the food. Lunch was much better because it wasn't as loud as dinner.

Teppan Edo - really enjoyed both the food and entertainment. One of our "must do" restaurants at Disney.

Rose & Crown - eh. Not great food but the atmosphere was ok.

So top 3 (don't have a top 5) at Epcot would be Teppan Edo, Chefs and San Angel.

Any menu recommendations at Chef de France?
Lobster bisque soup,
French onion soup
And I keep getting the beef short ribs every time I go. I love it so much. Husband ordered the chicken but it wasn't nothing fabulous. It was tasty.

If I'm leaving Epcot to eat it certainly won't be to anywhere near the boardwalk. It would be Disney springs. I have so many places I have yet to try there. But I totally agree nothing at the boathouse is worth leaving Epcot.
