Would love to hear opinions of best Epcot restaurant for dinner with 4 kids ages 4-7 years....Thanks. Christy:goodvibes

Best food at EPCOT in my opinion is Marrakesh, and the belly dancer is fantastic as entertainment!

Best atmosphere for kids is Coral Reef, but the food was just "OK"...worth doing once though!

My DD7 LOVES the following restaurants:

Chefs De France (because of the interation with Remy, although they have said they will be dsicountinuing this)
Teppan Edo
Tutto Italia

I have to say, DH and I love them as well! Just stay away from San Angel Inn, greasy meat and I have had better mexican food here in Central Indiana of all places for 1/4 the price!

This is my choice as well. Best food is pretty objective and depends on what you like. Marrakesh sounds exotic and can be but there are standard choices and the kids menu has the normal Disney standbys.

My second choice would be Biergarden. It isn't anything out of this world food-wise but it is good food, a buffet with plenty of choices, and there is entertainment for the kids. It is community seating though and while I like the interaction with strangers some don't and if you kids are overly shy they might not like it.

The only restaurant I don't like on the WS is Tutto Italia. I've been to Italy and my mom is Sicilian so after eating authentic Italian food the overpriced fare there just doesn't fit the bill. I find that true of 99.9% of Italian restaurants I eat at though so take it for what it is.

We had a great dinner at the Garden Grill in November. So much so we are going back there when we return to Disney in September. The food was great (served family style) and Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale were all there.

Given your kids' ages, I'd suggest either Garden Grill (character meal) or Coral Reef. Both restaurants have a great atmosphere and the food is good too.

My kids (9 and 5 yo boys and 7 and 3 yr old girls) LOVE the Biergarten. There is live entertainment with a dance floor at the lowest level. Request seating by the dance floor and the kids can get up and dance when they are finished eating. It is separated from the tables by a rail so the children do not disturb other diners while they dance. Very fun!! The food is German but is buffet-style so our kids always can find things that they like and they enjoy choosing.

I put in another vote for Garden Grill. We went last year and DS5 loved the characters and the rotating scenery. The food was actually pretty good, too.

We love Garden Grill. My kids think it is great that the restaurant is a ride (because is rotates). Chip is now my DD5 favorite.

My grandson is a "real food" person and doesn't do well with the children's menus that Disney has SO we have to plan well.

It depends on if your children like the children's menu or not but we have done well at:
Teppan Edo (Japan) and it's fun with the chef's tricks and the food was pretty good.
Tutto Italia (Of course, Italy) the food was pretty good for my grandson's taste.
We used to do well at LeCellier but haven't been there in a few years.

My kids love Biergarten and Teppan Edo. Biergarten has the German band which DD had a blast dancing to when she was 4. Also, at Teppan Edo they cook in front of you which is entertaining. And, we grown-ups love the food.

We enjoyed Coral Reef too, but that one gets more mixed reviews than the other two.

My favorites are Le Cellier and Teppan Edo. Teppan Edo might be better with the kids since the chefs are entertaining.

I too vote for Biergarten. We were there in December with DD (9) and DS (6). Both found plenty they loved to eat - chicken, potato dumplings, mac n cheese and tons of fruit. They even tried some of the sauerkraut and German potato salad.

We also loved the food, beer and atmosphere so it was a win-win situation.

Their favorite part of the evening though was when the band played and they danced down in the courtyard. Their favorite of course was the Chicken Dance.

They are already talking about the next time we go.

:)

I personally like Teppan Edo and Rose and Crown. I have always wanted to try Garden Grill and I heard it is wonderful for kids especially with the characters :)

My daughter was four on our last trip and she loved Coral Reef. I agree that the food was just okay, but we sat right next to the tank and DD talks about it all the time. Teppan Edo was great too- very entertaining and the food was really good. DD especially liked using chopsticks.

For kids, I would say the Biergarten. There is a wide variety of food for most of them and they seem to like the entertainment. Plus, it is one of the less expensive sit down restaurants and you get as much as you want to eat.

Another vote for Biergarten the food is very kid friendly (not to mention it was my husbands favorite restaurant) And the band was great all the kids get out on the dance floor. It is hilarious to watch all of them dance. My 5 year old just did the chicken... lol
Here is a picture of the band and all of the kids dancing :)
