Just curious. :) For those who ebay - what day of the week do you find is the best day for end of auction?

For sellers, what end of auction day ( and time) seems to have the most activity for those last minute bids?

And for buyers, what end of auction day (and time) seems to have the LEAST activity to ensure less competition against your bid?

As for me, I seem to "browse" ebay mostly during the weekday in the afternoons while on break from work. I seem to always miss those weekend auction endings. Was wondering about the ebay patterns of the rest of the ebay world.

Grace: it always seems I get a lot of bids on the weekends. As for ending evenings seem to be good , but with the different times zones I just am not sure.

Who Knows {throwing up my hands} LOL. Just when I think I have it figured out, it changes. I always loved having my auctions close on Sunday nights..(and if I'm doing 7 day, they go up then too..10 days go up on Thursdays), and then eBay started to have some real issues on Sunday nights..last Sunday was a nightmare..a whole section was out. If I'm listing on Sunday nights..then Auction Watch (I list through them) also seems to have outages on Sundays (guess, cause we are all putting up at the same time).
I'm also selling different type stuff...and I notice that during the day works for tools..on Saturdays and Mondays.
Kids stuff does well during the day, also, I have been told. I'm on an eBay list boards with about 900 others, and none of us can agree..just depends on what you sell, I guess.

Thanks for the responses!:)

Guess maybe there is no way to tell... kind of like so of the crazy prices so people are willing to bid!!! :p

Evenings are usually the best as bidders can be at home to make sure their bid wins. As for days of the week, I suppose weekends are better only because people dont work as much then. If someone is interested enough in it, they'll see the auction through. :)
