Best ECV Rental Company

I think I have a heel spur on my foot and we are leaving for Disney on June 2. I doubt it will be healed by then so I think I need to rent a scooter. I can walk for short distances at a time but not a whole day. I was wondering what experience people have had with the various companies. Thank you for your help.

If you go to the disABILITIES FAQs thread, there are some companies listed that rent wheelchairs and ECVs.
These are ones that DIS posters have pretty consistently posted good experiences with. The top 3 that DIS posters use most frequently are Care, Walker and Randys. I would confident renting from any of them. We had experience with Randys a year ago and had a good experience.

Walker. I have rented from them for years and wouldn't even try another company--why mess with proven success? They will leave the ecv at your hotel/condo--you do not have to be present at drop off or pick up, great service, I love them.

We are gonna rent from Scootarama.... I haven't heard many talk about them but what I have heard was positive... however upon looking at all the companies I could find, they did appear to be the cheapest at $25 a day w/free delivery to hotel and a minimum of 3 days (which is what we need them for)

Agree 100%. My mom had used them three times in the last 1 1/2 years and I already have an another ECV reserved for our Sept 29th-Oct 7th trip. They don't charge your credit card until the day before you arrive. Their phone number is 1-888-726-6837 and their web site is walkermobility.com. Ask for Bob--he's the owner.

We've used Care Medical twice. We had a flat tire (probably from the pin backs) and they came over to the resort with another ECV within 1 hour.
