I won't be renewing my AP for the first time in, oh, decades so I'm trying to sneak in as many visits as I can before my current pass expires in February. DD is getting married next year and is planning an event to rival the Royal Wedding in both scope and expense leaving very little in the vacation fund. As a result I will be staying in a condo offsite.

I plan on breakfasts and some dinners in the condo and doing a fair amount of brown bagging but am also looking for a few counter service meals. The thing is I can be extremely picky when it comes to theme park food-no burgers, nuggets or fast food pizza. I rarely eat fried stuff and pretty much never fried of the fast food variety. I have a fairly small appetite and am fine with the portions in kids' meals.

So far I have:

MK
Columbia Harbour House-Kids' Tuna Sandwich, Veggie Chili (this would be a large meal for me.)
Sleepy Hollow-Fruit/Nutella Waffle

Epcot
Kids' meals at Sunshine Seasons
Pisaladiere at Bolouangetie/fruit

Animal Kingdom
I really enjoyed a Snack Credit salad (near Dinosaur?) that I had last time I had the QSDP but don't remember the name of the kiosk, anyone familiar with this? I also like the fried rice at Yak and Yeti's QS and the samosas and falafel at Mr Kamal's.

DHS
At a loss here, will probably end up with either a brown bag lunch or a budget blown at the a Brown Derby Lounge.

Any ideas?

Brown Derby doesn't have to be a budget blown. Just get the app size of the Cobb Salad for $9.

Norway in EP has a vegetable torte on the menu along with some more interesting and healthy sounding sandwiches.

Harambe Mkt in AK also has some great food in the kid's meals too.

Aren't they opening food booths for a short time at HS? Maybe something from there. I like the childs plate from Tangerine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot. Fish and Chips from UK at Epcot are pretty filling as well but those are fried. I agree about the Cobb Salad at HBD, I can't finish even the appetizer portion. There is an appetizer at Skippers Canteen that is vegetarian and so big my grown son and I couldn't finish it (in all fairness we also knew we were splitting an Entre and having tea at the GF later in the day). Love the fried rice at Yak and Yeti, I can't eat it all. There is a not bad veggie wrap at HS at the QS place over by the back lot (I can't remember the name of it), I had that without any kind of fries or chips and was pretty full. They are a bit expensive but the nachos at Pecos Bills are huge if you add stuff from the fixins bar.

Thanks for the tips! I should have said that I love the Cobb Salad at the BDL, it's the pricey Fin du Monde beers that kick the budget in the teeth. It's just sooooo nice sitting at the rail and watching the world go by while sipping on a nice cold beer in a frosty glass. Bud Light in a plastic go cup isn't nearly so tempting!

I had no idea that DHS has food booths! I was there early last month and didn't see them.

When I look at the Tangierine Cafe menu I only see nuggets and a burger on the kids' menu, am I missing something? TC is my favorite QS when on the Dining Plan but it's a little on the spendy side and lot of food!

I forgot to mention that I'm not a huge sandwich person-told y'all I was picky! I used to like the kids grilled veggie sandwich at Studio Catering but that's gone :-( My brown bag lunches tend to be salads or hummus/carrots and some sort of fruit.

Thanks again!

AK: Yak & Yeti CS
Chicken Fried Rice. It is a "side", but the portion is large IMHO. It only costs $3.99

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
Side Tuna Salad $3.19, and I agree that the kids' meals are great there
