Am getting a Nano and wondered which earphones would be the best? Have seen these Skull Candy ones that match the Nano, but wondered if they will stay in well. Sounds crazy, but I want something that will stay in while I jog and not keep popping out of my ears. Any suggestions?

Oh, my DS just bought those at the At&t store for his IPhone and Ipod but he is away on the East Coast at college. Next time he calls I will ask him about the Skull Candy ear buds!!! :thumbsup2

BC, did you mean JOG?

My DD17 has Bose around the ear headphones. She had Sony and Phillips earphones, but they didn't last very long.

I love Skull Candy ear buds! They come with three different size of cushions so you can fit which ones best fit you - they stay in great for me and are super comfortable!

I'm probably in the minority but I like the Apple earbuds that comes with the Nano. :)

Good luck on your headphone hunt!

Skull Candy family here and we love them.

I bought DS the Bose ones for Xmas 2 years ago ... he never liked them. He did use them but just never felt the comfort that Bose said they were. Sheesh and those were $99.00! :headache: The Skull Candy was around $29.00!!! :thumbsup2

i swear by sony's mdr-ex81 series.
first - the sound quality is the best for the price
second - comfort, 3 different rubber ear canal pieces to choose from are included so the wearer selects their own best fit
third - comfort again! they wrap over the top of the ear unlike any other model that does it - you have no idea they are there. they dont dig into your head, they arent heavy so you dont feel them above or behind your ear.
fourth - they do not pop out!!

i first found them at a best buy near me, years ago. they're tough to find because they are so popular for runners. i've only been able to buy them online. i swear they are built for runners. i use mine at the gym, flying, commuting to work (i take the train into a city - not while driving ;)) i've burned through 3 sets in the last 6 years, only because of my lifestyle.

i hope you find what works best for you! :cool2:

I love Skull Candy! A plus was I got them on sale at Target for like 12 bucks. Really comfy, good quality.

:headache: I think I saw that Ad after DS bought his for $29.99!

OP, they do go one sale ... so you may want to wait until you see them on sale. $12.00 ... AWESOME!!! :goodvibes

I just spoke with DS who has them (away at college) and he really likes them. He gave them a :thumbsup2

Thanks for the response! Headed to check all the ads for prices right now.

I'm a fan of JVC marshmallow earbuds. They stay in really well, and the foam blocks out other sounds. Plus, they're cheap--the suggested price is around $20, but some are on sale at Amazon for as low as $9.

The skull candy buds are crap. Music quality is comically awful with them. Sure they are comfortable and block out the sound form outside, but what's the point when everything you listen to with them sounds like it's playing in a tin can? No bass or bottom end on the music at all, and even podcasts sound like garbage.

My favorites so far have been the Phillips surround sound buds and Sennheisers.

I say go for the Skull Candy ones. Those are my favorite earbuds, they block out noise really well. I run on the treadmill often and they stay in very well! I had the ones that didn't have a cushion in them and yes, if you switch from those to skullcandy earbuds do sound really different, but it didn't take me very long to get used to it. I bought my new skullcandy earbuds at Target on sale for $9 I believe.
