Our arrival night meal is always at Raglan Road. It is my favorite. We have ate there many times and have never been let down. The good thing with DTD is there are so many places to eat. It might help if you state who is in your party like kids and ages and party size. If you have kids then T-Rex might be a hit I have never ate there so can not tell you about its food. Also I assumed Table Service if you are wanting Counter Service then Wolfgang Puck Express is awesome!! Hope you have a great trip! Never mind I see the little ts now! Sorry it is Monday and my brain is already overloaded! So just ignore the WPE part.
For the youngest child, T-Rex might be a good choice, but something to keep in mind is that it is loud inside that restaurant. Lots of dino roaring...it was fun for a few minutes, but an hour or more might be too much!
In terms of food, I heartily agree with the suggestion of Raglan Road. The atmosphere is more adult oriented, but watching the Irish dancing (if they have it when you're there) might be fun.
A few days late I know but there are many good choices. Maybe I missed your hotel or arrival time, that would be important. I do like T rex and Rainforest but they can be difficult to get into without reservations if you don't have the Landry's card. We often go to Boatwrights at PO. We like the food and atmosphere and it's generally easier to get into both parking and reservations. Portobello's is also a good choice and there are many others. I think you're arrival time, resort, and car options would be very important to most in this situation.
Glad to see Raglan Road highly recommended. Our first TS meal is there! Our fave QS meals from DTD a few years ago were Wolfgang Pucks Express and Earl of Sandwich. *drool*
