We are returning to our beloved Disneyland Paris after an absence of 4 years.
Our party ranges from 70+ inlaws to 10 year olds and the rest of us in between :) We arrived on the 9th for 4 nights.

What do we need to consider for our trip in a few days time?

We are keeping the meals flexible and so far have only booked Cafe Mickey for Sunday evening. Monday I know is penciled in for Paris if the weather is favourable.

Wow Reid, you will find so many changes going back after such a long break (we did and it was about 2.5 years).

Things that spring to mind (I'm sure there will be more later) - don't forget your thermals as it's getting really cold now. I've bought us all those heat hugger socks and have now tried them out a few times with my new boots and they are amazing! I just know that even if the rest of me is cold, my feet will be heavenly! :lmao:

Have you thought about Walts for a meal? Not sure how many are in your party but if you could combine it with watching the parade or something by a window, that would be nice.

Like I said, I'm sure there are lots more, but they spring to mind.

Oh, and don't forget to ENJOY! :yay::yay:

Not long to go now!! :cool1:

How many times are you planning on watching Dreams and do you know where you are standing/sitting...?!

Ooohhhh it will be Christmas season by then :yay:

Toy Story Playland will be new for you won't it? I think it's well themed but the rides aren't for us, we only manage Slinky! I hate anything where you lose your tummy like that! :rotfl2:

You have the new meet & greet areas if anyone in your group wants to do that & the opening times will be on the schedule.

Also, Cinemagique has changed a little I believe...!

Have fun pixiedust:

Oooh I'm all excited for you Reid - DLP at your favourite season of the year :goodvibes.

The new Meet Mickey location is very well done indeed, I'm not a fan of queuing to meet characters, but I'd definitely do that one.

Dreams at Christmas should be even more WOW than usual too.

Just to add, in the new Toy Story area, the ride with the biggest queues always seems to be the Parachute drop - although they can all get fairly busy. If you are going to do that, I'd try and make a beeline for that one first in that area (that is if you aren't doing Crush).

:santa:

Make sure you take a look at the Dragon under the Castle Reid - she's been refurbed and now moves a lot more. Looks really good.

Also Earl of Sandwich in Disney Village - not bad value and fresh ingredients. A good place to grab a lunch.

The castle is looking absolutely stunning after its refurbishment last year and you will LOVE Dreams.

Catch the new bits (Toy Story Playland, Dreams) but mainly enjoy the differences from WDW.

I feel you can be a lot more laid back at DLRP and go with the flow a lot more. I also find Disneyland Parc the best park (including WDW) just for looking at the imagineering and taking it in. So we tend to do that lots. :)

I haven't been in four years either and am returning in 10 days!!! I am also looking forward to all those changes!!! X

How was your trip Reid? Did you have a good time? How did you find all the changes? :)
