I just did a google search and came up with a list from themouseforlist.com (not sure if this will work: http://www.themouseforless.com/tripplanning/travel/OutletStores.shtml). What's the best one or two? I'd like to stop on our way home from our trip next week but don't want a bunch of junk. I have to stop at one just to prove to myself it's junk or something I need to add to our trip each time. So, I'm up for any suggestions!!

Thanks so much!:goodvibes

I reaseached this when we went in Feburary and everyone said the Disney Outlet store at Prime Outlets off International Drive was the best (not sure which one that is on your list) and I can't even tell you all the great stuff I got there! The store at Prime Outlets is owned by Disney and is newly remodeled. It had just re-opened when we went. I'd say it's about the size of a Gap store and had tons of great theme park stuff.

There were alot of seasonal items, things from Easter, Food & Wine Festival, some Halloween stuff, some Christmas stuff, some things with 2007 on it and lots of clothes, but really nice clothes, more than 50% off what you saw at the parks. I got a gorgeous black embroidered Pirates sweatshirt for $14 and the tag still on it said $52. I also got two beautiful watches, a Mickey one and a Tinkerbell one for $15 each. Tag on the watches said $39.99. I also got a beautiful etched glass paper weight with the castle on it. I think it was $14.99, but the price sticker on it said $50! :scared1:

They also had pins, picture frames a few snowglobes and other assorted dust collectors and lots of little things for the kids, some small stuffed animals and toys, stickers, crowns, stuff like that.

All in all, I thought it was REALLY worth making the time to go there. I'm not sure how much I spent, but I know everything I did get was at least half price and alot was more than half off park prices.

PS. Several people told me not to waste my time going to Character Warehouse, can't remember exactly why though, but I do remember noboby having anything nice to say about that store.

Wow, great info Lisa!

Might try and convince my mom to make a stop over next year! :goodvibes

It's TOTALLY worth it! I got my niece a TON of that Disney Couture line stuff too. $30 t-shirts for $9.99, she loved it.

Thanks for this great info! Now I guess I know where to hit on Sunday! :cool1: DH's not thrilled about shopping but he's going to have to deal. I've got Christmas shopping on a budget to do and everyone know's we're going to Disney and will be expecting something when we get back:rolleyes1

Ditto the Disney store in the Prime Outlet. (It's right by Mary Queen of the Universe Church.)

We were there a week ago. When we were checking out, the CM saw DH's DVC shirt and said they just got Member watches back in. It was marked down to $19.99. I asked how much it was originally and I thought she said $45. After I bought it and we were back at the resort, I flipped it over and saw the original price was $125. :yay:

We got lots of shirts for dirt cheap and decorative DCL plates for $1.99. This is definitely the best one to go to. :thumbsup2

Honestly I think anyone of them can be a hit or a miss. For example last month when my family and I were at WDW we went to the ones located at the Premium Outlet Mall and the Prime Outlets International Drive. We found alot more items at the Prime Outlets International Drive location and on two occasions we left the location at the Premium Outlet Mall without purchasing anything. It was not until our last day of vacation when my Mom found something at the Premium Outlet Mall location.

Also to the OP there is only one Character Premier store at the location on International Drive. There use to be two of them, however both malls were closed and eventually demolished. Instead they re-built one big mall, so they only need one Character Premier store. So part of the information you looked up needs to be updated.

There is also a Premire Character Shop in Sunrise, FL at the Sawgrass Mall. I love stopping there whenever I can. I find myself in Boca more often than Orlando, so a quick 30 min drive to pick up cheap park stuff is fantastic.

I went to the Premium Outlets location a few weeks ago. I would classify it as good, but not great. The selection was okay, but I was expecting it to be bigger. I'm used to the Character Warehouse in Anaheim, CA which is much larger.
