Best discount for SD Zoo?

What is the best discount for SD Zoo? I don't need any other park tickets, so I won't need the combo packs. I have a coupon for $4 off deluxe admission, but just wondering if there was a better discount & from where.

I don't know about discounts on adult tickets but I heard that kids (ages 3-11 i think) get in free in October. Not sure if that helps you at all but thought I would post just in case.

It's good for $8 off the Best Value ticket (the one that gets your the bus and tramway) and expires the end of the year. Good for 6 people.
